I ate in Taj Hotel Tanjaur Restaurant in Dussera 1994 and the Dal and Sabjees had the price like 295/-, 350/-. Now they must be 1500/-. But then while I was having food magicians came showed magic, singers came and sang some songs (gazal and aalaap), dancers came and presented some dance, then there was dancing with thaalis in hand. Plus the royal ambience. So, it is like charging for giving you a royal experience. However, when they are giving a parcel it should have less price logically.

Whenever you will come to kolkata there is a restaurant name riyasat in south city mall try there paneer starters ... the make those dishes with home made fresh paneer
