I just started playing Rocket League some days ago with a friend and activated music while in-game. During my 3rd or 4th game we started to learn the ropes and actually did some good looking goals. This song came on and we did some incredible plays with this song in the background - which was one of the best gaming moments in years for me. I got legit chills at times. PLAY THE GAME!
First off, welcome to the game. Secondly, I have no idea why music during game is set to off by default, given that RL features amazing bangers! I always have it on and I put my favorite artists' flags on nearly all my car sets. Kaskade, Feint, Bad Computer are the ones you'd see me fly more often.

Depends, This one is pretty upbeat so it's perfect for gaming, the original is pretty melodious it's best for relaxing or if you want to feel atmospheric.
I both about just as much, but I do find the original to sound too "blown". You know when you turn up the volume way too high and the speakers just sounds a bit bad and crackling? It sounds a bit like that. The RL version doesn't have that issue.
