Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala (27) was cremated at his native Moosa village in Mansa district on Tuesday. His mother combed his hair for the last time while his father tied the turban.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

There was information that sidhu's life was in danger even though he is innocent but still the CM of Punjab took away his security because sidhu was from the opposition political party. less than 24 hours after the security was taken away, sidhu was brutally murdered by goldy brar who was in the rival gang of sidhu.
