Question of the month answers: it seems like any bars with vanilla, even just a tiny bit, will sweat. I'm ok with it! When it gets colder out they become solid again. It doesn't seem to affect the scent at all.
You got through so much Patricia! You and I are of a mind with Feelin' Punchy and Cotton Candy Cookie - love them both. Sweaty Bars - Light & Dark Sides of the Force, Vanilla Blackberry. Just last week I received a Light Side of the Force which had wept all over the inside of the Mylar bag. Maybe some oils just have a greater or lesser affinity for blending well with the wax, I don't know. Thank you Patricia! ❤️🥰
ANGEL 624 WAS THE BAR THAT SOLD ME TO SCENTSY. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I ALSO LOVED FEELING PUNCHY LOL I KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE DON'T BUT I LOVE IT IN ALL THE THINGS!!
Good empties video, Patricia. You did get through allot of remainder bars. Yeah, I like calling them "juicy". The only time I have issues with a juicy bar is when my bar goes through temperature changes during storage or even during shippment. I think the worst juicy bar I've dealt with was Citrus Garden which is a bummer cause I love that bar. Two of my Pink Sugar Berry Mint bars are all kinds of juicy but it has been super hot here in Michigan. I usually keep the air conditioner on, but electricity bills have gone up so I only do it when I simply can't take the heat. And, of course, heat rises. The Pink Sugar Berrys were on the top shelf of my Scent of the Month storage unit. Southern Evening can get juicy, too. I'm trying to think of the one bar that doesn't get "juicy" sort to speak, but is really soft when you try to break the bars apart...oh yes, Autumn Blaze maple. love that one too. All in all, I don't really mind them much. I just use them sooner than later when I come across them. I usually run my juicied up fingers through my hair and use the oil to scent my hair. then I wash my hands and I smell pretty.
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes I live in an apartment. Each individual building has four units (2 up and 2 down). They're more like condos. My unit is to the back off of a very large grassy area. In the winter, it's like a wind tunnel back here, but it keeps me cool (usually) in the summer. Up until this summer, I was able to get away with barely using my a/c. since i'm on the bottom and heat rises, my poor upstairs neighbor has to have hers on all the time. The folks next doo to me...well, we share one wall, the bathroom/utilityroom wall. I store my wax in my office/2nd bedroom which has an outer wall that looks onto the park area out back. When the wax is in there, it's pretty stable...well, until this summer. mostly when I deal with juicy wax it's when I've moved it into one of three melting baskets that I keep in the inner rooms of the house.
I enjoyed this so much! 🤗I wanted to thank you for helping me get thru all my old bars / testers some were past due and “smelled off” so now I’m on a mission to get thru more of them! Congrats on finishing a brick🎊 such a good feeling I finished a couple( lots more to go.) I love Sandalwood Tangerine!!! So so good! It’s in my club Same with Simply Irresistible. . I find red bars sweat the most. That’s the one thing I don’t like about having to break the bars because my hands get all messy but I guess it’s worth it for a good scent. Great empties!
Oil residue is the bar UP for me , but sweaty bars, pink haze!!! Has about 20 droplets on the back of the bar and that layer is changed colours too, not an old bar either
I haven't ever really thought about the sweat issue, but I am so stinkin' proud of you for FINALLY melthing MM!! Glad you liked it. It is one of Mr. G's favorites, so I always have a bar hanging around.
Red and purple bars always seems to be my repeat offenders for sweating . But you’re right , marshmallow mint coco is terrible , my brick from last year has pools of oils in the center of each square
Great video, Patricia! Your melting basket inspired me to also work through open bars that I had and I have emptied almost double the number of clams that I typically do in a month. Feels good! Painted Leaves, Aussie Plum, and Dancing Sugarplums are all bars I have currently that I know are soooo sweaty. I can’t figure out the cause because I store all my bars in the same place. But luckily, in my experience, a majority of my bars don’t sweat.
I would have loved to club most of the glamorous you collection but I think I was a few weeks too late starting my club. Thanks for your amazing reviews as usual 😁
Great empties Patricia! I haven't really had a problem with sweaty bars overall. A few that I've let sit for too long have been slightly goopy (Hibiscus Pineapple) but I've seen some videos with truly sweaty, really messy, actually dripping oils everywhere bars and thankfully haven't had that issue yet. I have a really old bar of Thunderstorm from 2015 and that one is a little worse for wear but it's 7 years old 😄 I have quite a few that have discoloured over time tho. Pumpkin Roll is one that always seems to stay in pristine condition. Thanks for sharing, you got through a lot! Have a great weekend my friend! 😊
I herd from another consultant once that bars with a vanilla note and bars with a red and blue wax color are prone to sweating. For me some of the worst is Sweet Plum Pastry, and Marshmallow Mint Cocoa.
I had most of my bars start to sweat in the spring. No heat in, but no air either and open windows may have been the culprit or storing them vertically? Not sure. Still melt great though.
I recently purchased 2 sets of the extra wide Steralite type drawers. Hopefully this is a good solution. I’m desperately try to use most of those bars up now!
Red Berry & Spruce and Apple Cherry Strudel seem to be sweaty for me most of the time and occasionally a bar of Welcome Home will get sweaty. Great video ;)
in summer ALL my bars are sweating... i cant even touch the closed clamshell without having wet fingers. also i have to wrap them in paper towels, otherwise my furniture would be destroyed... its annoying and i have the feeling that my bars dont smell as strong as they used to. its my first scentsy summer and ive tested a lot of the summer bars, but i have huge troubles in smelling them. if i do smell something, the scent is gone within 6 hours or so.
Usually don’t have a problem but last summer the house was hot a few days, ac issue, & some bars I keep in one cabinet were sweaty. Off hand, I remember banana nut bread, happy birthday, happy new home-I needed to get through these, tho. Pumpkin roll ages well for me..so does pumpkin cinn swirl. Hazelnut frosting bars are exceptional. I have a full brick of perfectly pomegranate that is dry-never warm it, never want to, I know I should.

Hi Patricia, the bars that I have that are sweaty now are all of Aladdin’s Three Wishes, Sweet Plum Pastry and all of my Taste of Summer bars. I think they all came to me like that. I’ve had some pine scents and blueberry rush get sweaty too.
Omgoodness Allies daughter was absolutely adorable in that whole video. I have a lot of Fairytale Pumpkin and Vanilla Blackberry left from my consultant kit ( really not Scents I even slightly like or enjoy) and I have noticed that they sweat a lot.
Awesome job as always, thanx for sharing! I'll be trying the body wash for the 1st time when my 2nd clearance order gets here - picked up a bottle of Pineapple Coconut Vanilla to try. Will have tall shoes to fill - besides smelling great (Japanese Cherry Blossom & Tahiti Coconut, love & alternate both!), I love the way B&BW suds, making it very long-lasting for me, so we'll see. The body cream, which I also recently tried, is very nice - I like the way it's very soothing/covering, but not greasy, and makes you skin feel great. I loved the Shimmer scent, but didn't care for the It's Love scent, which I just gifted to somebody, who was very happy to get it! :) Love Luna (was one of the first Scentsy scents I tried), but it's WAY too light for me, as were Pink Haze, and Pineapple Coconut Vanilla, and World Traveler (chuckled at your "scent story", and remembering the Mountain Climber Game on Price is Right! :) Same with Kakui & Coconut, but I like to mix that one with Coastal Sunset, and it's very nice! Love Stitch, it's in my Club, also a good mixer. I'm still VER much on the fence with Glacier Water, I keep sniffing the sample you sent me! LOL. The Island Days scents are nice, but not strong enough for me (again - thanx to your samples - always MUCH appreciated!). :) "Would You Like a hug? No - I would not - get away from me!". Thank you for the laugh, as always!! :) :) Haven't smelled this, but hug/kiss my BayMax buddy every single morning, and night - LOVE him, and don't regret treating myself to him one bit!!! :) :) Chase Rainbows Red & Blue are both in my Club - love both, and they did great for me! Just commented in your BBMB video that Sandalwood Tangerine is a surprise for me - love it, and it's not strong at all, but every once in awhile I'll get a whiff of it, and it's so nice, just wish it were much stronger, but it is very long-lasting. Zeppeln - the firefighters - yes, please!!!!! ROTFL. I like Just Breathe, but have to be in the mod for the lenony part. Love Clean Breeze - does well for me, but dissipates quickly. Picked up a tub of whiffs in clearance - haven't used it yet, but when I opened it to smell, it doesn't seem that strong. Hoping upin use it will be stronger. I came to love, and Club, Southern Evening. Have to be in the mood for Camu Camu - reminds me of lemon ice tea, did not re-purchase. LOL. I can't really say which bars have been the seatiest for me, never really made note of that. LOL I will say the that clearance order I finally got this past week - all the bars were pretty sweaty in there, due to how hot it's been. And even though Scenty has been been putting the new "cold pack" in the Mylar bags with bags - every order I've gotten with them the "cold" pack has not only been totally melted, but warm. So really don't do the job at all.
I’ll hope to grab some Blue bars in the future if they pop up in clearance. That was a rookie mistake me trying to be stingy with my club additions! You’ll likely find the Scentsy Clean whiffs on the stronger side of things. I rather enjoy the light scent of the body line because “technically” my work is scent free. So I can still get away with sneaking them in because they aren’t so potent.
Love your reviews! You worked through a lot! I need to work through some more summer bars before fall! I have way too much. And some I really don’t care for. 😂
Question answer 🤔 hmm not a "Sweaty Bar" my only concern was with JammyTime turned an odd color sorta pea green did not affect the smell. I added that one to my bar to my club
Great empties! Yes, even Meleiah noticed sweaty bars and that was a new order! IMO bars poured in the last year or so sweat easier. Red is the worst followed probably by dark purple. Dark Side and Marvel Nine Realms are the worst for me. Love Nine Realms but wont stock up on it due to this issue. I have older red bars that are just fine. Strange.
For me, the sweatiest bars are often plum scents! Ghostly greetings, Aussie plum, sweet plum pastry, dancing sugar plums, the maleficent bar... all super sweaty. Halloween town and the cars radiator springs bars also get really sweaty. I’ve never seen skinny dippin or apples and oats do that though. I’m curious to look through my bars now and see which ones are driest.
You mentioned Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl as getting sweaty, I have a bar that got pretty sweaty a couple months ago and now all I smell is caramel. I hope its normal smell comes back when I warm it this fall. My bar of Plum & White woods is pretty sweaty right now, we are dealing with a heat wave at the moment, can't wait for cooler weather next week!
Sweaty bars annoy me. I can't think which ones have been the worst, but when they get even the slightest bit glossy, I'm melting it. It was actually an abundance of sweaty bars that caused me to seriously cut back on purchasing and use what I have. I think some of my oldest bars are dry as a bone though. I have 6 bars of sugarplumberry that are in perfect condition.
Question of the month - Honestly Around The Campfire was one that sweat really bad for me. Last fall when I joined Scentsy I got a bar to try it. And within a month of having the bar it began to swear and the oils were separating. I still however did enjoy the scent. Looking forward to getting more I enjoy mixing it with Hug in A Mug, and Graham Cracker Crunch.
I have Graham cracker crunch in my club and all of my club bars had the air bubbles and “sweaty” and with it being a brown coloured wax it was not attractive. I have a problem when I order bricks in the winter and then by the summer time they are all “sweaty” and “juicy”. Orchard apple and spice when I warm just destroys the dishes that I am not going to purchase that scent anymore.
Not trying to sway your decision to not warm Orchard Apple & Spice… but just in case it’s helpful …my easiest dish cleanup is squirting in some gel hand sanitizer and wiping with a tissue. Takes 5-10 seconds and the crud is gone
Question of the month - I can’t think of a specific bar but when I think of sweaty bars I think of red bars. Anyone else feel like red bars sweat more? 🤔
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes I like it! It’s like a fresher, zestier ssa with a lil kick. Husband didn’t complain about a strange smell either so that’s a bonus!!
Fun video!I feel like I kind of know what to expect from a lot of the wax but I'm so confused by performance on things like scent paks and fragrance flowers. They just surprise me alllll the time! (Performance isn't really the same as it in the bar version. Like with amazon rain, that was really strong as a flower but pretty dang light in a pak...I think clothesline was the strongest pak I've had so far, but I've not tried them all.)
I noticed the scent paks felt and looked different about a year or so ago. It might be in my imagination but I don’t find them as good as before and will be purchasing infrequently and only ones I know tend to be very strong.
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes Do you have any favorite paks? I won't quote you on it or anything, just curious to know what's worked for someone else. (It's a little hard to get feedback on non-bar products...sometimes empties videos have info on paks/laundry fragrance flowers etc, but they largely feature wax.)
I find with my bars the ones I seem to have the worst luck with is Southern evening, Sweet plum pastry, orange dreamscicle. I don't mind some sweaty bars but when they are so sweaty the are leaking out then I don't like it
And it's funny you mention storage. I went threw all my scentsy in my basement where it's cool. I brought all the sweaty bars upstairs where it's probably 5x hotter and about half my bars were dry next time I checked so I don't know what's going on lol
blueberry cheese cake, was one of the worst sweaty bars ive ever had...the bar fell apart in my hand, dripped and mushed apart. Red bars, some blue bars and some white bars can be bad too
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes im was a really old bar too, and i ended up warming the entre bar that time in my shop, so i also kinda over did it with that scent...never warmed it again since
I am eager to see what people have to say about sweaty bars. The only bars I’ve had this issue with are Citrus Pop, Atlantic Air, and Happy Birthday. To be fair, Citrus Pop & Atlantic Air are ~5 years old. Happy Birthday I bought on the black market, and can’t speak for its age. It also got lost in the mail for like a month. I think the sweatiness is either how it’s stored, or it could be the level of fragrance oils and dye in the wax. Wax can only hold so much oil. Just my 2 cents.
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes I really loved it when I first got it, and hoarded it. That is why I've had it so long. I recently melted a few cubes, and it is STRONG, but chemical smelling. It kind of reminds me of an orange starburst candy. It's even the same color. I would get a few bars in the future, to see it the age negatively affected it, but I don't think it's club worthy. Have you tried it?

I’ll hope to grab some Blue bars in the future if they pop up in clearance. That was a rookie mistake me trying to be stingy with my club additions!
You’ll likely find the Scentsy Clean whiffs on the stronger side of things.
I rather enjoy the light scent of the body line because “technically” my work is scent free. So I can still get away with sneaking them in because they aren’t so potent.
Love your reviews! You worked through a lot!
I need to work through some more summer bars before fall! I have way too much. And some I really don’t care for. 😂
Yes I’m trying to still warm mostly summer bars in August
Question answer 🤔 hmm not a
"Sweaty Bar" my only concern was with JammyTime turned an odd color sorta pea green did not affect the smell.
I added that one to my bar to my club
That one actually changes colour in the warmer for me too
Great empties! Strange.
Maybe supply chain issues are affecting certain ingredients and sweating is more likely to happen??
For me, the sweatiest bars are often plum scents! Ghostly greetings, Aussie plum, sweet plum pastry, dancing sugar plums, the maleficent bar... all super sweaty. Halloween town and the cars radiator springs bars also get really sweaty. I’ve never seen skinny dippin or apples and oats do that though. I’m curious to look through my bars now and see which ones are driest.
Hmmm... all purple and red bars too. 🤔
Some trends are developing in the comments - I agree
You mentioned Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl as getting sweaty, I have a bar that got pretty sweaty a couple months ago and now all I smell is caramel. I hope its normal smell comes back when I warm it this fall. My bar of Plum & White woods is pretty sweaty right now, we are dealing with a heat wave at the moment, can't wait for cooler weather next week!
I hope things cool down soon for you.
It’s odd some sweat and some don’t at all
Question of the month - Honestly Around The Campfire was one that sweat really bad for me. Last fall when I joined Scentsy I got a bar to try it. And within a month of having the bar it began to swear and the oils were separating. I still however did enjoy the scent. Looking forward to getting more I enjoy mixing it with Hug in A Mug, and Graham Cracker Crunch.
I like hearing Around the Campfire mixes.
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes There's a few good mixtures including this scent!
My worst sweaty bars were definitely the Star Wars dark side and light side.
The force is not with those bars
I did this! It worked! Counter clean didn’t even work on the dishes 😃
Question of the month - I can’t think of a specific bar but when I think of sweaty bars I think of red bars. Anyone else feel like red bars sweat more? 🤔
Red bars seem to be common offenders
Definitely see that with red bars too!
Yes! Almost all of my red bars sweat.
Fairytale Pumpkin I just warmed to use it up because it was soo “greasy”😆
Haha! You think Cinderella could have wished that bar sweat away at least!
Today I mixed mojito mambo with sea salt and avocado 💚💚
Verdict??
@@hannahhaddad9565 Clothesline and probably By the Sea. The Monsters Inc one is fairly good too (that I have going now.)
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes Thanks!
Who the hell knows right???
Do you have any lemon chiffon wax or pods that you coupd sell me ? I so wanna try that flavour so bad
Sorry - none for sale
It’s been awhile since I’ve had a sweaty bar actually. I think I had a really sweaty Bananaberry though.
That one discolours terribly for me
(But I 💛 it)
Welcome Home was a huge mess (I had a brick). I had to keep it in the freezer.
Oh no 🙈
blueberry cheese cake, was one of the worst sweaty bars ive ever had...the bar fell apart in my hand, dripped and mushed apart. Red bars, some blue bars and some white bars can be bad too
I’ll have to keep an eye in my blueberry cheesecake bars. I’ve never noticed sweating but I rarely melt that one
Yes I hope people share all the sweaty experiences!!
I really liked Citrus Pop … what did you think of that one?
I'VE CAME ACROSS THAT WITH BERRY BLESSED. I LOVE THAT SCENT BUT EVERY BAR I'VE GOTTEN HAS BEEN WICKED SWEATY
@@Layniebug a long time ago. I enjoyed it!
I have some testers I can warm but I’ve been hoarding them a bit
My sweaty bar was Vanilla Blackberry. A scent I don't really care for. 😔
I have 1 bar - I’ll have to ck it
The red bars are awful! I also have pretty sweaty blue bars
Aladdin sweats a bit
New bars sweat so bad, anything red or dark in color. Moana and the were all mad here are sooo bad
I noticed sweaty bars increased recently too. Who knows
