Black 5 44871 & 45596 Bahamas Head The Mancunian to the SVR - 28/09/24 - 4K

A week after the SVR Autumn Steam Gala LMS Jubilee 45596 Bahamas stayed at the Severn Valley Railway ready for a special Railtour to come to the SVR to Celebrate the life of Long Serving Bahamas locomotive Society member and Volunteer Steve Peach. The Railtour was headed by Ian Riley’s Black 5 44871 from Manchester to Kidderminster and then the people in the tour Swapped to 45596 Bahamas to finish the journey to Bridgnorth because Bahamas isn’t Air Braked.
For the first Shot of the day I headed to Penkridge to see the Black 5 at speed but I had to shorten the Shot a bit due to my camera going out of Focus. When the Black 5 came it was at speed and got a Whistle as it was coming into the Platform. After Penkridge I was going to Chase the 5 to Stourbridge Junction but I missed it because of Traffic.
After I missed out at Stourbridge I headed to Tenbury wall to catch 45596 Bahamas on the SVR Leg to Bridgnorth and it was worth it because Bahamas was clean with its new red plates and yellow stripes on the Cab.
After Tenbury walk I tried to Chase it to Eardington Bank but I missed it by 30 seconds so I decided to head to Bridgnorth and get some stills of Bahamas and film the Newley BR Large logo liveried Class 50 50049 Defiance. I even got to Cab Bahamas at Bridgnorth as well.
After the SVR I headed to my Local Station Rowley Regis to get the black 5 going up old Hill Bank and I was really Close to getting bowled by a unit but the 5 slowly came working around the Corner with no Diesel assistance up Old Hill Bank.
It was great to spend the day with my mate ‪@LiamsLocos‬ and it was good to see ‪@GreatBritishRailways1‬ and ‪@FlatCapJack52‬ why I was out filming today.
