And yet, The Beasts of Bourbon were / are so much more than a Birthday Party copyist band. Bit of a cheap shot really. Cow punk or 60's Garage Trash, was around long before either of these bands, yet (somehow) some people seem to be of the opinion that The Birthday Party originated / created this style of music. Both bands were strongly influenced by the same influences, as were / are many other notable bands.
