Ohhhh, if Chris heard you say he was American, he would not be happy 😅 He's a very proud Australian 😂... I remember him and Felix talking with 2 children and the children said they sounded American, Chris wasn't happy 🤣 Also, you have to remember Chris created Stray Kids, so the amount of work he does to keep his group at the top of it's game is incredible, and this was from the age of 20 - can you imagine? I've never known such a hard working person in the music industry. He deserves all the recognition, even the recognition he doesn't get (like Cover Me when people say it was only written by Hyunjin)
TRUE!!! This was everything I wanted to say, but I didn't know if he'll see the comment, so I read comments to see what he "liked" in the comment section. I KNEW STAY wouldn't disappoint!!! Thank you for the comment
I love that you brought up how crazy it is that Chan has to kind of direct each of them on top of making the tracks, but then also seeing him basically direct himself and just thinking about how he has writing, producing, and composing credits on like 95% of their music?? Idk how he ever gets sleep. And then like you said right at the end of each members session, they looked sooo relieved to be leaving and I just kept thinking about how Chan probably wants to go home too but he’s there for every members recordings, I can’t imagine the insane amount of relief he must feel when he’s finally done for the day
I liked the videos of the recording process because although there's a lot of cuts and probably not all sessions went smoothly, we can see them struggling, tired, making mistakes and getting frustrated. It is nice that they're ok with showing people their voice cracks and out of tune singing and are able to make fun of themselves
they direct the parts they write so since chan writes the most parts (changbin and han mostly writes the rap verses) he directs often, but like you said even for those other parts he oversees the recording. when he records he either directs himself and someone in charge of the computer does the technical work or changbin is there to say if it's good enough or not
Chan has 100s of unreleased songs on his laptop...Hannie is always sleeping in the studio, bro can sleep anywhere and through everything, and Changbin will always try to keep them on track the best he can
Apparently, they almost didn't release Megaverse and almost just got rid of it completely. I think they weren't happy with it or didn't think it would do good, but they worked more on it, and now it is such a banger. Imagine if they didn't release it. Well, I'm not sure if you liked the song, but I loved it❤
at 23:46 you are completely right. we know for sure 3racha got like 2-3 albums ready already. for example, if I remember correctly, megaverse was recorded over a year before the album release, and ofcourse they rerecord them close to the album release. they work so much its insane, and yes, Bang Chan has produced all SKZ songs except 1 which was given to them by JYP. 50:10 many pro rappers who follow korean music/rap put both Han and Changbin in top 5 best rappers, often ranking Han higher for his ability to switch flows so easily, but yea both legends with each their own unique skills
50:18 You're so right because Changbin on "2 Kids Show" late last year said that he's been feeling stagnant lately and that he knows that if he doesn't make a big change in his rap it's impossible to "get better." On the other hand, Han has been making a lot of songs and trying new things last year and this year.
Without a doubt, Kim Seungmin is the best vocalist of the 4th generation and the real diamond not only of STRAY KIDS but of the entire K-POP industry. PLEASE REACTION TO SEUNGMIN: OST "DESTINY" "PHOBIA" "CLOSE TO YOU" "HERE ALWAYS". SOLO SONGS "HOLD ON" "STRAS AND RAINDROPS".
Heck! They even write songs the same night after finishing almost 4 hour concerts. No wonder some of us Stays can't keep up with all their new music and content!
19:03 all that stuff comes with the job, its what they sign up for. like they knew that going into it and they do get like a day or two off a few times a month but its rare for them to have a week or two off, its once every few months and stray kids had like a month off but they did have to go into a work a few times because they had to go live for their birthday or had to go to fashion week. 24:16 most of the time, 3racha writes the song specifically for the album but there is also a lot of songs that they had written in the past and think suits the album so then they go ahead and have the rest of the members record their part. its so funny because based off their hair colors and outfit, we are able to tell around what month they recorded the music video and the recording video😭
There’s another behind the scene video where Hyunjin explains for Cover Me that he wanted to use Felix’s higher tone voice because it is beautiful and felt it’s not heard enough. Hope you react to the color coded finished song Cover Me. Thanks for this great reaction.
Tbh idk what you mean by their pronunciation gotten better because they always had amazing pronunciation in English and the only reason you notice it more in lose my breath is because it’s a fully English song. But especially seungmin always had good English pronunciation.
5:33 I’m screaming in laughter bc I had an ad as well then come back to you having an ad at the same moment 😂😂😂😂 8:14 I say in Felix’s case here as he matured and etc etc his voice got deeper and deeper 😂 17:58 yeppers he makes the beats and etc etc by himself and then him and the other 2 write the lyrics and do what they are doing here and more stuff 21:25 yes changbin does but he doesn’t do much bc bangchan will know what he doesn’t and die need to do lol but it’s still good to have changbin there for extra backup just in case during his parts 24:07 h 100% these recordings are old bc they said that megaverse was originally going to be the title track of the 5 star album but they didn’t feel it fit the vibe of that album so they held onto it and I’m glad they did bc months and months later they came out with rock star album!!! Also they tend to usually release 2 to 3 albums in a year!! Last year it was 3 albums!!! This year I feel it will be 2 bc they are doing a comeback in July then they could easily turn around and do another comeback in either November or December!!!! But also with how busy they’ve been I’m happy if we just get 1 album this year
Hyunjin phonetically is he-yun-gin. Don’t stress the he (shorter than hee) part too much just let it roll. The yun part is the stressed part in the name. It’s pronounced heyuuhnngin.
By the way, Hyunjin participated in writing and composing the second song, 'Cover Me', but couldn't be there at the first recording session. That's why it's him monitoring the second one. I love that more skz members are starting to make songs, because we've been getting masterpieces ✨ Like 'Cover Me' is the favorite skz song of many STAYs 💚🖤💗
*With Chan, Stay is a little unfair by completely ignoring another SKZ schemer and only mentioning one, when two of them were the songwriters and producers. It's always the same, don't forget to mention the others (3racha) when one of the other members "does" a song.
@@mile.maciel520 I know, don't worry. At first, I wanted to say "participated in writing and composing", but I guess I wanted to put the highlight on the actions themselves. But you're right, I also prefer when everyone who has worked on something get the credits for it, even when we're talking about another's progression. I'll make sure to clarify it next time! ^^
Btw i don't know if you knew this already but felix and bangchan are from austrailia so that's why they have a strong accent also all of the members undertstands english, all of them can speak it han and seungmin are more fluent lee know is not comfortable speaking it but he understands very well
That Bang Chan makes all their beats is a piece of misinformation floating around that seriously annoys me, because he doesn't need such embellishments. So, Bang Chan made a few beats entirely on his own, mostly for SKZ-Records. Then, there are some (usually when he is credited alongside Versachoi and maybe other JYP Labs producers), where he comes up with the idea of the beats or is directly working with these producers in the conceptual phase, and then that producer does most of the actual arrangement work, because that's a full-time job, e.g. the beats for 3Racha (the song) or Taste or Red Lights seem to have been done like this. How it works is shown in the BtS of certain Kingdom episodes (definitely the one for God's Ddu-Ddu-Ddu), where he discusses his ideas with Versachoi. But they also have many songs where JYPE either bought a song demo from external producers and 3Racha then used that as the basis for the song (e.g. Miroh, the original raw version was released by the other producer under the alias DJ Dank and is called Jungle Boogie. Chan later rewotked parts of the beat to turn it from a track about the actual jungle into a song about the concrete jungle of a city), or they do a song camp with the producers who prepared the beat. For the second, there is a really interesting interview with the producer whose team worked with 3Racha on Chronosaurus (the producer is called Kairos), where he describes the experience of working with them and how involved all the members of 3Racha are. So, even when Chan doesn't make the beats himself, he is involved, but he doesn't single-handedly make them. That would just simply not be possible unless he had some kind of supernatural ability to get more than 24h per day with evetything else he does. And I find it super disrespectful to the people who work with them on their song if you minimise their contribution just to talk up the already insane amount of control 3Racha have over their music. The reality is impressive enough, there is no need to belittle the talent and hard work of producers like for example Versachoi (I point him out specifically, because he made the beat for God's Menu, and had a hand in many of Stray Kids' biggest hits including Maniac, S-Class and Lalalala), just because he is not an idol. I apologise for ranting here, but it just annoys me when Stay (not you, but the ones who are spreading the misinformation to new fans) disrespect the hard work of the people who are collaborating with 3Racha, just because Bang Chan also works on the beats.
hi, i also wanted to correct a little something in your comment. chan made the most of the arrangements (beats) for taste, 3racha and red lights (and some other songs) since he is credited as the main arranger. he didn't just contribute to the ideas. but yeah for most of their other songs he is the second arranger. i personally spoke with the producer of super bowl and he said chan made the beat of the bridge part. also chan himself said he made the beat of venom's bridge (we have the footage of him making it too) so these examples show that when he isn't the main arranger he produces the beats for only some portions of the songs, mostly the bridge. or could be a beat for extra verses as well. but yeah i wanted to point out for the examples you used he is the main track-maker
@@tapioooca5182 oh, my bad, I got the examples mixed up in my head, sorry! 🙈 I also don't want to downplay what he does, because it is still a lot, and as far as I can tell it's more than most idol-producers do on the arrangement level. It is just already so impressive on its own. I also think it undervalues how good all of 3Racha are at working with other people and how they can integrate styles brought in by other people into the Stray Kids sound.
There is a video that showcases some of the samples used by Stray Kids. Very interesting. th-cam.com/video/jEgr57Cwkfg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=olDvWSnQRKtObKYx It’s same with some Stays crediting the kids with all the choreo as well. The kids would have no free time whatsoever if they did all this by themselves and it’s really not fair to the real choreographers.
the mistake you used to make when pronouncing hyunjin is that you said hi-un-jin but the y isn’t pronounced an “i”, it’s just y like in “yellow”. and then you just read it together like hyun-jin

Skz members said Bangchan almost lived in the studio. His skills amazed me so much
Felix's voice and range are amazing, I really hope he releases another single

MEGAVERSE was nearly thrown out before it got to this stage. It was just a written piece of art

8:05 Fun fact: when Gods menu was released Felix was 19
Han can usually be found sleeping in the studio. 😂
i agree i love hyunjin's rapping so much too! maybe it's not as good technically as 3racha but i just love his delivery and voice

2:08 we all knew this recording video went through editing process, so when changbin said 'OK' that doesn't mean it refers to that last record take

INCREDIBLE💯👑🌟🤴
It wasn't a new day recording "Cover Me." They were wearing the same clothes!

For Hyunjin, the u is pronounced as uh instead of ooh, so it's Hy-uh-njin. Hope this helps ❤😊
Please, also check out and react to "100 iconic moments of Hyunjin by SNOWBANG". Thank you ❤
can u please react to the skz replay album its their individual songs. i cant put the link cause it keeps deleting my comment :(

It’s said Hun Gen. some say JunGen but I think Americans put to much emphasis on Js.
the mistake you used to make when pronouncing hyunjin is that you said hi-un-jin but the y isn’t pronounced an “i”, it’s just y like in “yellow”. and then you just read it together like hyun-jin
so it’s just two syllables because the y is a consonant and you said it with three syllables the y being a vowel
