correction here, 2:35 shove and ranged moves have a hitbox with a certain size on the z axis (length). They do not check the distance between an enemy and the player nor do they check if the player is facing someone.
"infinite range" means that it has unlimited range and still reach outs at how back you go, it still hits

And if you deny the death counter thing, just know that death counter relies on a different move of range like vanishing kick(it just copies the range of attacking move)so its tied by cheating

if counters are "range-less" because they don't have a specified range written in the code, doesn't that make the 2nd part of vanishing kick also range-less? because whenever you use the 2nd part of vanishing kick, what it does is put you next to your opponent and proceed with the attack, without any range limit being put in the code. so following this logic, isn't vanishing kick also range-less?

its basically just a command, if you use a respawn command, it will respawn, it doesnt have a set range or anything, it just kills the target, thats how commands on roblox get targets.

Edit: This is why Vanishing Kick counts as a normal move that we or I (anyway) include in my range test video. Counters are NOT supposed to have any range, but moves ARE supposed to... Vanishing Kick breaks the cycle perhaps?

also although i agree i would be careful with how you word things because "infinite" and "none" are kinda synonymous in this example, because if a move is "rangeless" then it will hit no matter what, but if a move has "infinite range" it will also hit no matter what
its like unstoppable force versus unmoving object, both are different but its impossible/very difficult to argue the difference.

A counters range depends on the range of the move hitting the player.
Counters technically can travel infinite distance but there's no way to do that because an attack that can hit from so far away doesn't exist.
Fun fact: trashcans also have infinite range as long as they dont hit the ground

nah counters don't count for nothing plus you need attacks that can hit from so far that you can't even see it coming, now consider that you CAN'T do that physically in a normal scenario, whilst with suiryu, you can litterally not only teleport, but chain a combo off of it. i have no idea why you tried proving your point with scripting, as moves and counters are different in nature, and one is useless without the other
