This season including season 1-5 were produced by Rohail Hyatt. Coke Studio didn't have it's official channel at that time, that's why the episodes are uploaded in producer's own TH-cam channel. Rohail is known as fusion master, as record producer Hyatt is largely credited with helping shape and pioneer Western-style rock and pop genres in Pakistan's music industry. He is reason why we have different versions of Coke Studio all around the world. Season 6 was way ahead of its time including musicians from Serbia, Croatia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Turkey etc and vocals from Pakistan. This experiment helped him to produce season 13 (2020) when corona was at it's peak. Check out more music of his era (uploaded on his channel), you'll find different influences in his style of music.
The first section is meant to sound dissonant and chaotic and in disarray it represents the confusion of the modern man in the post modern world, it was meant to sound unpleasant and confused and the second section was supposed to represent the answer to this emptiness and confusion found in ancient traditions where music/culture was not a commodity made for commercial purposes but was food for the soul and nurturing the soul and spirituality were important elements in daily life.

Hey. 1st up Bravo to u for reacting to this master piece. 1st part of the song questions the reality of life.. 2nd part is based on a folklore (Sohni-The lady, Mahiwal - The Alpha) Sohni used to cross river with assistance of her clay pot to meet Mahiwal. Some envious lady replaced her clay pot with a faulty one & she drowned while crossing the river. 2nd part reflects discussion between Sohni & the defective Clay pot, just as Sohni is at the river bank .. U should really go through the lyrics.
Check out Moray Naina Zara Madani & Miyaan ki Malhaar Ayesha Omar, Fariha Pervez . Both the songs are from the same season of Coke Studio. They are absolute gems. You would surely love it
@uncle Momo. It’s can’t be the other way around. The song is build up with questions and answers. One should drag you to ask and the other get you quiet answer. It’s a bit of Quawali style. If you listen the end part carefully you hear everyone playing at same time but was not a noise pollution….was very smooth. You have to understand the whole composition. I suggest you see online the producer talking at a university . I see him talking real physics and philosophy for more than 20 minutes without to touch the subject of music. You have to understand the producer.- Why he make this music production this way !
