Why is this in the Newzealand Today play list
This video is so dense with information I've been searching for. Thank you for this awesome lecture!
Thanks for saying so! I look forward to making more.
Great video thanks for creating this.
Also InDesign has a "Data Merge" functionality for populating templates from CSV files that I use for my prototype cards, pretty slick.
Cool. Yeah, I should learn more about that. These days, the kinds of games I make require a "Q" and a "club" so... not as necessary. :)
It's great to see more from you! This definitely addresses questions I've pondered often and found poor answers for. Thanks for posting!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! With this subject matter, a video seemed like the only way. :)
thanks, saved to my favorites.
Thanks for this, it is very useful!
This is very informative. Thanks for sharing these tips.
I am so glad this video showed up in my recommendations! I'd put my game on the backburner while focusing on other things, but you've inspired me to get back to it using your advice. Glad to see I was already implementing some of it.
Thanks James, you are an amazing designer and teacher, and your game philosopy is awesome, thanks for sharing, it helps a lot. Regards from Argentina
Thanks for posting! I really enjoy your lectures, and your articles and how-to's as well!
Excellent presentation! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Very good presentation Sir.
Thank you.
Thank you
Yay :)
You're one of my favorite game designers, if not my favorite. I haven't battled the designers out in my head before, but I really appreciate you 😆
You're really knowledgeable. I hope you can share your thoughts and feelings on balancing mechanics soon. It can be in a more casual context than this if you're not jazzed about the idea ;)
Also, Affinity Publisher ;))
Thanks, and good topic! I'll add it to the list.
Airships. Goggles. And the color brown.
Great video thank u! Can you do one on gameboards?
Game inventor what a cool job
I looked into Affinity as an alternative to Adobe and MAN is it a better deal. $600 a year (or $55 a month) to rent the full adobe suit, OR $165 purchase ($55 each for their PS, Illustrator, and InDesign alternative) to own forever and use on Mac, Windows, and iPad.
Why would anyone pay that kind of money for something that won't even allow you to own?
Meanwhile I'm just here doing everything in InkScape...
i wonder if you are an ENTP mbti type. :)
Phtopea. Replaces Photoshop for free.
