Mbwazilume is not what the interpreter has explained. The name comes from a forest fly which was called Mbwa fly. When the people of Buganda grew this type of matooke variety - they liked its cooked matooke so much that they did not mind if the Mbwa flies ate them or not - hence calling the banana variety "Mbwa" "Zilume". It had nothing with what the interpreter mentioned. Respect is required.
