Sailed the Pogo last week. Upwind and light wind experiance was very impressive. Easily 9kn upwind with 12-15 knots of wind. Runs sometimes 6Kn with 5kn of wind. Unbelievable performance.

Hey BadWithNames, thank you for your comment but there is no slow-mo on that video… that s how it looks like when you film it with a go pro ….and…. if that looks like slow sailing, pls post a film where you sail faster than 25kn….

İts planing. that shows its going more than 15 knot. But 25 knot is really amazing speed for daily cruiser.
halit özbaşlı yeap indeed it was fast... but sorry to tell, the Pogo is not a daily cruiser, it s a powerful downwind racer with cruiser amenities... you should try fastsailing.gr
These delta hulls Pogo, Elan Jeanneau . are capable of 20 Kts + .. I’m wondering if an Elan 210 ben reach these speeds ..

Is having only four winches a problem? We're thinking about a Pogo 36 next year and we'd consider moving the mainsheet with fast/slow rearward (I know the traveller is near the helm).

No problem at all. For trimming the main you use the traveler. I would only think of moving the winch further aft it if it were for solo sailing so that the helmsman has everything nearby. But then again you would spoil the nice backrests and the winch would be placed further far away from centerline making using it less comfortable. Come and test our Pogo36 starting early 2017 and then you can decide about how to configure yours.

Dimitrios Barkoulas We were not sailing with genoa. It was the gennaker which is 85sqm i.e. ~2 times bigger than than the genoa. Speed is absolutely real. More videos of the same boat doing >20kts
