That is some dedication. A lot of the time people will find it hard to resist pulling on a char because it's an easy solve to their account issue. It takes a lot of game knowledge and dedication to not pull for meta/break the bank to pull on every character and still manage to beat the game with what you have given that nothing this account own is broken (Firefly without Ruan Mei is just strong but not broken, Boothill same deal decently strong with bronya but nothing too crazy in these setups). Great points! I enjoy fighting mobs with their full potential rather than a HP sand bag, so pulling all meta characters just makes the battle easier and less enjoyable by avoiding all the mechanic from the mobs.
Game knowledge (such as knowing what to invest in relic and teamwise) will always be more important than limited 5 stars on your account. A player will still struggle even if they got "broke" 5 star units simply by not having game knowledge whereas someone who does have game knowledge will always be able to clear endgame modes with 4 star units provided they level them up and invest in them properly. This is one the main reasons why I will always advocate for pulling who you like rather than pulling for meta. Contrary to what people may say, your account isn't bricked if you don't have x character
This character selection is horrifying its so top heavy its like damage damage damage .... sustains and like bronya.... Like something that i think casual players need to be taught is dps characters are a shiny new car but a support character be it tingyun and bronya or robin and ruan mei are the gas that makes a team realy work Even in an acheron team your always being fuled by her nihilities This is bot to say it cant be done but its so much harder without

im a 1.0 player (started like 3 weeks into the release) and only recently i was able to 36 star abyss because of jiaoqiu, who was a very important addition to my ratio team ratio/march hunt/aventurine/jiaoqiu team for the first half boothill/ruan mei/bronya/gallagher second half

hi, i wanted to ask for a general advice: im a relatively new acc, started playing on the last week of 1st sparkle banner. my current limited characters are ruan mei, s1 hanabi, acheron, jingliu, fu xuan, huohuo. standards are e1s1 bailu, e1 welt, gepard and himeko, which i dont use rn but obviously planning to build himeko for pf a bit later. rn im focusing mainly on the character traces, roughly at the pace of pulling them (currently finished all my limiteds except for acheron whos 7-8 rn but planning to fix her after robin). im a casual player, also enrolling after this year so i dont have much time to play and effortlessly i can clear only like half of the endgames (8-9 moc stages, 2 apoc stages, 2-3 pf but 3rd not full stars) i have appropriately invested only in one (jingliu team) team as of rn, and i wanted to ask, should i switch to farming something else instead or keep farming traces until i have at least half-built characters for two teams? i dont struggle with clearing the general content in game rn, and i dont strive to 36★ moc as soon as possible, i want to stay casual and just enjoy the game and pulling the characters i like. my current pull plans are all 3 reruns of 2.5 (robin top priority) then maybe topaz, then aventurine and acheron sig when she reruns. if break is still good (dont really like this playstyle but like boothill's gameplay specifically) i might go for boothill. is there anything i should do in your opinion?
For traces, there is in-game recommendation. I would say level up the priority one to 9 or 10, Acheron's ult for example. Yes, building two teams is a great idea. You can start something like: - Acheron, Pela, Hanabi/Guinaifen/Welt (Resolution pearls LC), Gallagher/Fu Xuan (with universal Trend market) - Jingliu, Ruan Mei, Robin, Huohuo/Fu Xuan You can start prefarm for Robin, then farm some relics for Acheron and Jingliu (debuff set or ice set) - March 7th hunt path is great with Robin if you want to build her as well, and Gallagher. I think your account is good to go after getting Robin.

I would find the damage dealers that match the weakness and build a team around that character. Then look at their relics & LC to build the team. Set a target for the cycle used, for example 4 cycles first half.
Yes you are on a good track, traces can make a huge diff on the team damage. Having good relics on dps is important, supports can use the left over and still function
