Ok I didn't know about the Lando date thing, so I watched and come on, that is totally staged that way. Isn't it also the difference between American and British humor? And all other types of humor for that matter?? 😅 They were both rude at times but in a funny way. I like it. But I like Lando. I think it's the mom in me.... Like with Alonso I definitely have no mom vibes 😊 Great show guys! Recently discovered you. Sorry it took so long. LJ
One thing I gotta say about the lando chicken shop thing is that I don't think he was being "rude or disrespectful" because he wanted to gain status, he was being like that because that's actually how the show goes. Amelia has said that she actually wants to have that "negging" dynamic in the show because the comedic moments that get created from it are what makes the show unique and seperate it from other dating shows. I mean literally most of the clips that go viral from chicken shop are clips where the guest is taking jabs at amelia or vice versa and she just looks super annoyed with them😅 If you watch more episodes you would soon realize that this is a pretty regular occurrence in the show and I think lando was pretty aware of that. Although I do think that lando got nervous and that stopped him from showing his best personality, which wasn't really a surprise to me. It's pretty clear that the dude is completely introverted and can get pretty socially awkward, looking at some of the past interviews and media stuff he has done, especially when he feels out of his comfort zone.
Spanish here, I have to say that to me to see TH-camrs talking about F1 in England and having the spanish journalist talking about the same thing is just two very differents realitys. For us, Alonso recived a penalty just in an unfair way, just because FiA is a MaFia , they gives penalti to ours drivers: Spanish Carlos Sainz en las Vegas, and Mexicans Checo here , and they let others go away without penalti because they are British, they let Lando race without penalti and he dindt respect the start of the race. That what we live, Alonso was penalised because Fia didnt do a thing to help Russel and to bury their mistake they blame Alonso, just like they did with Sainz in Las Vegas, or Checo after saturday, just bad and unfair penalti when they protected their British drivers. So, to come here or in another non Spanish F1 TH-camr is just a shock for me. F1 is a different world in Spain and Latinoamérica. And yes, Alonso here is F1 maestro, a king in Spain, all the media who happens to broadcast F1 have Alonso as their hero. There is a journalist , Lobato, who has made a succesfull carrera following Alonso and making all about Alonso in Spain, it gets to a point where is annoying, then I remember Alonso and his championshis with Renault when I was a kid and I thougt ok, I get it, is too much for me, but I get that he is our F1 champion. The thing is , I have the same age of Carlos Sainz, I grew up with his dad dakars and with Alonso Championships, I get the people who has being on F1 just for Fernando and only for him, we dont care about Hamilton specially because of Fernando. But yes, we care about Carlos, he isnt idolized by the Spanish media like Alonso is, but people love Carlos. We were mad at Ferrari for the non renewal contract , as I said we dont care about Hamilton, and Carlos is ours, that movement was not liked by us, we were angry on behalf of Carlos and for Carlos, and now we are just proud of the way he is fighting all of this. He is not a neppo baby just like you said here on anothers times, he is just like his father, a great driver who is not complaining, he is just working well, doing his thing on his way. So, yes, that English man was right, Spanish tv care about Alonso in a way that doesnt happend with Sainz, but people love and respect the Sainz father and son. With Alonso is and old cult, literally a cult, bur for me and for others, Carlos is just great and Ferrari is the one losing Carlos. As many times I read they, Ferrari, dont deserve Carlos, ellos se lo pierden, So, yes the world is all about Carlos, mianwhile Spain has a king and a prince. We love the prince and we are more than ready to fight Hamilton or Ferrari if they did dirty to our driver but he doesnt have the blind faith that media have in Alonso. The thing is that if Carlos does epic wins like this one with the apendicitis historia, he is going to be our best Spanish F1 driver, people is starting to speak to him as Don Carlos Sainz jr, and sometimes they put the surname Parera ( Carlos Sainz Parera)for Rafa Nadal Parera, in him meaning that he is one Sportman to be proud, that is the joke that gives the Sportman status of great champion in Spain. So, things are turning right for Carlos, even Real Madrid puts his congrats on him for Australia, so maybe he is going to have the blind support of the media here just like Alonso. Anyway we want the best for him, and we are just Happy with him, we love his father too, and it was very beatiful to see the dad proudly looking to his boy while the Spanish anthem marcha real (without letters ) was replacing the ducht anthem. Sorry by my bad English but my whole day is in Spanish and we are bad with English in general.

That was the best race in the entire season not just for f1 but f2 and f3 Dino beganovic winning if f3 Kimi antonelli p4 in f2 then sainz and leclerc p1 p2 it was awesome

Omg guys, Alonos IS a god! Sainz still has some work to do till to get to that level. He is an old school smart fox for sure, but do we not silently love that kind of driving? Hmmm. It is of course the outcome that was not what he wanted either. He knows about that himself all too well. I do not agree on street races. Most of them are no that interesting. Australia is not a real streetrace, neither is Vegas. Like Jeddah it's too well designed. For me it's circuits like Baku and Monaco which are true street circuits. I like the old school tracks better usually, but you have bad old school tracks and good street tracks. Does that makes any sense?? 😅😅 LJ

Leclerc did it multiple times, and in 2023 Charles is the only one that overtook both Red Bulls in one race
