When I saw you pushing the snow plow, it brought back memories when I was a around 6 or 7. My dad handcrafted a big wooden fridge that was kept in the garage. It was water proof and everything. I remember being so curious about it. He taught me that warm air rises and displaces cold air to the point where it stabilizes and the whole fridge is just above the temp of the ice which is technically a fraction above 32°F. The snow is shoveled in on top a box the fridge and enters a big tray up inside. When or if the air is warmer on any particular day eventually the fridge would see that warmer air even though it was insulated with thick house insulation. My dad taught me that you can't stop temps from balancing unless the insulation was a vacuum. So with profound curiosity I would always check the snow container on top of the fridge. As the spring neared, my dad would remove the cover on the fridge inside the house that was smaller but it was perfect for the ice-blocks that were delivered along with the bread, eggs, and milk. Those were the days....

That is such a lovely desk and so well made! I've seen other handmade desks that don't look anywhere close to being as nice as this and they are really expensive to buy. And those are made with reclaimed wood as well. 👏👍

One of my absolute favorite pieces. Love the log slices in the epoxy river. I am hoping to try an epoxy river piece sometime soon, and I am leaning heavily towards using log slices like this. Great craftsmanship and beautiful finished piece.

I am not a professional woodworker, so don't hold it against the maker if I praise something that is standard practice, OK? but I have done a little bit of woodworking, and seen quite a few things (like houses) built of wood. This video stands out because of the thoughtfulness evident at literally every stage of the process. There is the least waste - of materials, of time, and of motion, I have ever seen - either personally or in a video. And the result is absolutely beautiful and creative. Bravo! Subscribed.
