Never heard of Ingrid or Highasakite before. Possibly beacuse I'm not Noweigan. I stumbled upon the Unplugged version of Aha The Sun Always Shines on TV and immediately fell for her voice and English/Nordic dialect and became curious. Now here I am watching an interview.
I'd be VERY interested in seeing this from the perspective of Ingrid being an assertive male that didn't feel the need to include everyone and share everything with the others. Because I suspect that she was the creative engine in the group. You can work on a project until you're blue in the face and be as musically skilled as anyone, but if you don't have that inner landscape, vision or muse that brings out those great melody lines and lyrics, you don't really have a product. And I suspect that she caught plenty of flak for it too, and that some of the band members never really got it. But from what I gather, she's got her golden ticket now and she's out, and I wish her the very best. She was one of the most interesting personalities to appear on the Norwegian music scene in a long, long time.
@@marteteigen4935 I mean that from what I've gathered, she wanted children and a white picket fence and not be a part of the industry forever. It looks like that's what has happened. I doubt the period in her life that triggered those finely tuned creative strings will reemerge in a completely new role, something her last creations also showed quite clearly. I doubt we'll ever see her again in the same capacity, but I hope I'm wrong of course.
Yes, well. I really don't know. I think she is very selfsentered, to be honest. And that she sometimes find it troubled to cooperate with people. I am very happy she is who she is! But highasakite before was tranquile to watch grow and create.
