Theres been a few that caught my eye but not many where I want to buy or have to have. If there’s a non paying buyer then I think the least they can do is one more auction then if the same thing happens again then okay sell it right out. Thats wrong to skyrocket the price that much due to a non paying buyer, if you wanted that price then you should’ve listed the doll for that price instead of doing an auction. A lot of people dolls will sell if they lowered the price even by a little bit or even allowed payment plans. That guilt tripping mess don’t work on me, my dolls also don’t sell and people don’t care and I don’t threaten everyone and say imma throw it away cus I know I’m not. Be patient like the rest of us and stop making people feel bad because they don’t have $2,000 to spend on your dolls. Exactly. I agree with the second auction thing. Then finally, if that fails, some money is better then none. To me, even if it is $4000, that is a lot. So what if the average price of your work is $8000+. Give someone a deal if no one buys, especially after a while. And girl, right. Everyone is having trouble selling. It’s the market. That is why you buy to keep and some dolls honestly, depending on the kit just isn’t in demand second hand, no matter the price. The market is saturated as hell and besides people also picking and choosing, just be patient. No one cares or shouldn’t. It’s a doll. I’ve had that happen to me before. I “won” the auction with the minimum bid and the seller canceled the sale, then relisted at the price she really wanted. Some tactics seem a little manipulative and dicey to me. Your girls are adorable! Better late than never with the Halloween outfits. I didn’t bother with Halloween at all with my dolls this year.
Right. It’s like giving you false hope of getting a good doll at a good price. Like set the price the first time, because you can’t count if people to bid up your doll. I’m sorry that happened to you. That is very manipulative. And yes, sometimes holiday dressing is a lot. And with what I’ve been going through physically lately, it’s been a big effort lifting these dolls to dress them for the videos, so may do less of it overall.
