Great story. You say the trail provides. I say nothing happens by accident. It was meant to be. My guess is the blowdowns were caused by the storm we saw nationwide on the news. Glad you weren't in the path. Ok, dumb question time. Do the people of Finland and Sweden mainly speak the same language?
No that’s a good question, sorry I didn’t explain it in the video. So we don’t speak the same language, but Swedish is the second official language of Finland and we learn it in school for several years. (But Swedish people don’t have to learn Finnish)
That is the section that nearly had me quitting the trail. It's impossible to video and reflect how truly hard it is. You can't feel the weight of the pack or feel the rocks on your feet. Only by hiking the Appalachian trail can you tell how very hard it is.
