ในยุคสมัยสามสิบปีก่อนที่อาจจะดูไม่นานนัก กรณ์และอินทัชนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพฯ
ได้พบเจอกัน แรกเริ่มจากความสงสาร ทำให้อินทัชก้าวเข้าไปในชีวิตของกรณ์ผู้ได้ชื่อว่าเป็นลูกชายของผู้มีอิทธิพล แม้จะถูกไล่ แม้จะถูกเมินใส่ สุดท้าย หัวใจก็ยังต้องยอมเปิดให้เด็กหนุ่มที่ร่าเริงดังพระอาทิตย์
แต่ถึงอย่างนั้น ในสมัยที่ความรักของเพศเดียวกันยังไม่เป็นที่ยอมรับมากนัก เมื่อความแตกถึงหูของพ่อของทั้งคู่ ทำให้ต้องทั้งสองคนต้องแอบมาพบกัน อินทัชพยายามที่จะสู้แต่สำหรับกรณ์ผู้ซึ่งทนกับความอึดอัดมานานแสนนานกลับท้อถอย กลับกลายเป็นโศกนาฏกรรม เมื่อกรณ์ยิงตัวตายจนทำให้อินทัชที่เสียใจและขาดสติฆ่าตัวตายตามไปด้วยกัน ทั้งที่เรื่องราวควรจะจบ แต่บางสิ่งบางอย่างกลับผูกพันพวกเขาทั้งคู่เอาไว้ ผ่านมาหลายสิบปีนักศึกษาเปลี่ยนรุ่น ภามนักศึกษาปีหนึ่งก็ได้พบเจอคนที่เขารู้สึกว่าตัวเองรอมาทั้งชีวิต ในขณะที่ดีนนักศึกษาปีสามผู้ซึ่งพยายามหาใครบางคนตลอดเวลาก็ได้เจอคนที่เขาตามหา ด้ายแดงผูกพวกเขาไว้แน่นกับอดีตที่ไม่น่าจดจำ

When my uncle passed away, my cousin of 5yo asked why my aunt was crying and his mom told him it was because her brother has gone to heaven and him, in all his innocence asked why he left? He didn’t like the earth anymore?

I feel so sad for Korn and In. Imagine, they've found love, but born on the wrong era to the extent that they have to commit suicide to escape their problem
I don't know i didn't get a vibe that the suicide was because they couldn't be together - it seemed Korn was the conduit for the butterfly effect. He seemed like he had extreme depression outside of the love story and his action lead to In's death.

The way I couldn’t control my tears to falling. The fact that Korn did everything for the happiness of his brothers ( he always make sure that they were doing great and that they were happy) while him was suffering bc of his dad and bc he knew that he wouldn’t be able to be with intouch. He kept everything to himself and just suffered alone. Intouch was his only source of happiness, and the fact that Kit (not sure about his name sorry) witnessed that make it even more sad, bc he couldn’t helped his brother and was only a witness.

I like how the fathers are the ones who tied the threads and seemed so genuine when they hoped their sons would find each other again..... It seemed they knew they were the cause and was filled with so much regret so the least they could do was hope and believe they would be happier in their next life

The deaths of Intouch and Korn stand for many. I am of their generation. I knew many gay men who died young, long ago. Two very close school friends of mine - one by suicide at 19; the other swept away by AIDS. The story of In and Korn is not far from the truth. And yes, many died in a world of rejection, shame and fear. Sadly, there were often no mourning, loving fathers; quite the opposite. UWMA reminds us of darker times. Today is a different era, the time of Pharm and Dean.

That made me think about a lot of things... Did it really had to get to that extreme just for their parents to accept them and love them just how they are? that just... agh
There are still countries where being lgbt+ is punishable by death guys. There are homophobes still at large walking around unchecked. Bringing BL to mainstream is a huge step at fighting that and I love everyone who goes into making these shows available to the world. But we also need gender studies and awareness and so much more 💖🙆🏻♀️🌈i hope we get to our safe places steadily but surely🌷🌸✨😭
Yes, in the 1980s it was a different time; I was born in 1989 but growing up I would hear stories from my mum and other family members during that time, it was a ugly time to come out as gay. This story really helps us to understand that each generation is very different and that without support and love the it can become a time of sadness and grief. Today my generation and your generation are lucky to see acceptance and love from those who look pass the social norm

I'm sorry to say but this is the most BL series that deserves an award! All the cast who potrays the Characters here was all worth it. Also the plot of the story was the best! Thanks to Thailand for making not just a bl series but also a Great story that can go along to any genre of series nor drama. UWMA DESERVES AN AWARD! HEY! All the cast also deserves to make more series huhu.

Honestly I was terrified to watch this series because my friend told me that In and Korn committed suicide to get me to watch the first episode. I didn’t tell her till later that a friend of mine had committed suicide but anyway that’s why I was scared to watch it because the wound was still so raw but I was surprised to find that this series actually helped me cope with it a little more. I don’t know how or why I seriously haven’t the faintest idea but it does. I only cried once but there were many times when tears would prick. So if you need a drama that is gonna dump a bucket load of reality on you, and is gonna break your heart but at the same time make you stronger than this is definitely the one

Watching this series made me think about my past life more. When I asked my mother when I was young, she told me that I kept saying "Ara" and that when my aunties would ask me how old I am that I would answer "25". Also, I have always been afraid of water. Whenever it rains, I get anxiety. I also have nightmares of drowning and something pulling me from beneath the ocean. What's even more weird is that I have a birthmark in my ankle, as if I was dragged and pulled down. Seeing the ocean makes me cry and sad, and sometimes I feel like I never belonged. Yet somehow, thinking of the ocean, I thought it was where I belong. I would often dunk my head when I'm in the bathtub and some memories of drowning would flash back at me. It is super weird. I believe in my past life that my name was Ara, I was 25 and the cause of my death was drowning because my feet got stuck.

They both love their sons, they got stuck on belief on what they thought is right that they forgot to see their sons love and decision.
It's also wrong for Korn to take his life, but I cannot say to him. Mental depression is deep. He's living all his life knowing his father is mafia and their future and present is unsure.

I love this show so much, but I can honestly never rewatch it like I do other shows. It's too emotional for me. I have cried SO MUCH while watching this. And honestly I've put off these last few episodes for a while because I knew I was going to cry a lot. Lord I cant stop crying

The key to not destroying yourself emotionally when you rewatch is reading the comments while watching lol. Not a perfect system and it still hurts like a bitch but occasionally someone will make you laugh at a comment and it hurts a tiny bit less

I do feel your pain by the first time I watched this series I stopped at ep13 ig and now I came back to complete it I didn't cry that much for TOL but for this I definitely did I CRIED A LOT especially at every flashback scenes
The part that really got me bawling was when the niece was asking where uncle In was and if he was coming back.😭

AND WHEN KORN'S DAD HELD HIS SON'S HAND UP. THE WHOLE SCENE OF IN'S DAD IN THE FUNERAL GOT ME CRYING SO SO HARD. GOT ME CRYING SO DAMN MUCH. AND I SHOULDN'T CAUSE I HAVE A HEART PROBLEM.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS EVER, THAT HAPPENED TO MY LIFE. ENGRAVE THAT ON MY GRAVE.

Ninguna serie me había hecho llorar como sucedió con esta, es tan emotivo e inesperado todo lo que esta sucediendo. Mis aplausos para el escritor, los productores y sobre todo los actores que lograron transmitirme sus sentimientos.

I still remember how I got into this series. Since I already knew Cooheart through Love By Chance, and saw in his IG his post promoting UWMA, I gave it a look because I thought this is some fluffy BL drama, but when I watched the first episode, I was completely wrong. 1st EP is already sooo intense. Tbh, I'm quite sensitive with suicide-related topics because I've been depressed for years (sadly, until now) and... TMI but I tried to take my life 'once'... But I still watched this because I'm so intrigued by the story. And now, is the last episode. I will miss this so much. This is really one of the best Thai BL series that I've watched.
I'll still watch the other parts of this EP 17, it's hard to say goodbye to this show, but we need to see the ending of this.

I actually think the lack of bg music in the crying scene makes the scene more intense. Because raw emotions really stood out and Shiaaaa it hurts

Last scene of Pharm with gun literally gives me a goosebumps. Pharm portraying the emotions of In is outstanding. This is one of the Best drama of Thai BL.

I'm literally crying while watching this episode. But the thing is, they don't even put sad bgm, just raw video of them crying. Now imagine putting a tear-jerking bgm for this scene. That's pure talent y'all.

I felt so sad for him, he portrayed the feeling of a left brother so well
I didn't even realize I was crying until i felt something drop. The dads coming together and tying the string themselves really made my tears go down faster and actually made me sob 😭 I wasn't prepared for this 😭😭😭😭😭
