Thin Veneer Stone Eldorado Stacked Stone

The video is on how to lay thin veneer panel stones. Specifically this one is using Eldorado Stacked Stone panels but the application is fairly standard across the board for any stacked stone panels

Great job on explanation of installation, up in cold snowy Canada. Would i follow your same practice ? should i be concerned about freeze thaw with no mortar in between blocks if water or snow gets between. feeling confident after watching your vid.

If the roof doesn't have an overhang to keep the water off of it you might want to be concerned... Other than that if you're just concerned about while you're laying you can use an accelerator in the mix. I don't know who would carry it up there but you're masonry yard should have it on hand.

Did you hold the stone off the porch at all or did you set it right in the concrete?

Depends on the application. That one is under a roof so I put it right on the porch stone, if it's going to get moisture then I put a weep screed at the bottom
