Dear Mr. Mading, i would like to appreciate your hard work on fixing S.Sudan!! Below are my few observations: Firstly: For more productive dialog with your guest, i suggest if you can be more objective rather than subjective. For e.g. avoid attacking your guest, instead give chance to your guess to speak up, afterwords both of you can suggest a way forward to fix South Sudan. Secondly: Let the interview be more of interaction and less of interrogation as you smile at your guest 🙂. Lastly, You are trying to fix South Sudan, so bringing up old stuff will not fix it such as 1991 case. As a TV programm presenter, try to be as neutral as possible. Otherwise, you are doing well and keep up the good work!!
Thanks for your comment which is intended to ‘fix the fixing.’ I understand the point you made about the need to observe impartiality in Interviews. It’s a creed that has been at the heart of journalism for a long time. I just want to assure you that I have overcome it long time ago in favor of fairness. I try to challenge my guests, especially those who have a bit of public record without exception while I afford them room to speak about fixing without starting anew. The past isn’t past and therefore is part of fixing.
The host is clearly bias towards certain people or group of people.Do you think he will-be very confrontational like this towards the Dinka leaders. I doubt that.
