This takes me back! I stayed in Tokushima in about 2005 with a friend who was teaching English there and we filmed a whole lot of amazing interviews and footage for an amateur documentary which never got made (but that’s another story!). While staying I would go for wanders around the outskirts of Tokushima in a neighbourhood that looks just like that and stopped to admire a beautiful temple adjacent to someone’s house on a little backstreet and the temple was same size as their house! They invited me in and their daughter who was trying to learn English tried to translate... showing me the inside of what was their family temple... it was incredible! Anyway they invited me back for dinner and she became my tour guide for a few days while my friend was working. Such wonderful people and such an amazing experience. Just discovered your channel and love your style... a natural eye for photography. Look forward to seeing more 👍😉
Mr Jon Kane that is such a cute little story! People from the country side are super warm and welcoming, especially in Tokushima! I hope you get to visit again soon, it truly is a lovely place! 😊

My fav tips for posing are literally just to breathe, relax, and look right through the lens (not just at it!). Hope your senior portraits go well, or if it has already happened, then hopefully you can use these tips in the future! :D
