I first heard this song on 11.11.22 on Premier Radio while driving to work in the morning. Alone in my car I was very emotional. After work I found the song on TH-cam. I have not stopped playing it. There is something in the song that takes me into a different world . Thank you. This is my every day prayer. I need you Lord. Every day and every hour.

Does anyone else have a problem with this line from the chorus of this song "My one defence, my righteousness" ?
If I were writing this song I would write "My one defence, Thy righteousness" because it is certainly not a defence of mine that I am righteous in any way other than through Jesus.
It's saying what you are saying.... Jesus is our one defense and righteousness. We need Him in all ways, but this way is most obvious and needful. Through the cross we are forgiven, His life for our sin. His holiness covers us by His blood. I in no way took this as saying that the writer was relying on their own righteousness. This is why "I need YOU"...
