Thank you! I'm happy with the finish too and excited to get stuck into the new goodies. I did a bit of a review of my stash on Sunday and … man … I have way more charts than I realised. Not all new - some off of destash tables and sites etc. but … yeah. There is plenty there. I might have to cull a few things to take to Chch retreat to pass on.

I was a little shocked when I did a bit of a consolidation. Still so many things that I plan to stitch but a timely reminder ahead of market that I actually have a … no other way to say it … sh$t tonne! 🤣
How wonderful having an extra weeks holiday to get the decluttering/reorganising done. I usually go through cupboards in January and have a sort out, always such a good feeling. I’m really looking forward to this new adventure too! I will still have the occasional commute and some travel. But this week I have to head into Wellington on Wednesday and Friday for personal matters. Usually I’m already in the city. but I live in a very small city and there are things I still need do in the big smoke. I just have to add in travel time now. ☺️

To be fair … it was actually a planned week off. I officially started today. The plan was to get a bit of a head-start on some testing. But the guys didn’t get as far as they planned with the set up. I wasn’t too disappointed you can be sure.

Talk about needles on Fire...I could see the smoke rising. I was quilting all week and didn't pick up my needle. Leap year sal is coming out today for my week.

At least it's not a bloody government job with all the garbage that occurs not actually related to the function of the position. All levels of government are the same. Oh bummer about the gin. They are a small distillery but they do sell via some distributors like Moore Wilson. There are only Smyrna crosses I think. So nothing tricky or problematic
I think the first one will be Garden Club series. I meant to show the linen I dyed for it. Also, I have the linen and enough of the floss for The Heart and Home Patchwork - the five part sampler from A Heart Remembers.
