Your videos are great! Your videos popped up on my recommendation randomly and are very entertaining and educational in certain areas keep up the great work! Also every I see Trackmaster thomas stuff on your videos I gawk in jealously lol!
Love that you’ve found the channel, TH-cam pumping the videos to lots of new people recently, welcome & hope you learn something 😊 Love a bit of TrackMaster! Getting hard to find these days 😬
Unfortunately not quite £40k! But of course still grateful for the views 🙌🏼 All depends on the video/watch time and all other factors, but that video is around £5-7 per 1000 views. Give TH-cam a go! Confidence grows with time, won’t know until you try 😊
Your work & Effort you have made in helping people has got you recognised. And the numbers are pumping through as people like and interested in you. Well done.. You have a community behind your content. Congratulations and may your journey continue. Growth is a good indicator of your efforts.
Thank you mate, very kind 😊 Nice to know people are getting something from all the vids - and they’re finally starting to pay off for the time that goes into them!
It’s because of the cost of living and people looking for a new way to save and make monies - and because people enjoy the content Also how do you know when ur out in the field what stuff is worth on eBay if signal is shit
Ideally you need to get to the stage of not having to check eBay. It all come with experience and confidence in your item knowledge. I very rarely check solds in the field. Agree with you on that, hard times these days
I randomly came across another guy selling full time on eBay and he was a bit annoying in all honesty. But yours then came up and is a good watch! What sort of money can you make doing this a year?
Haha I wonder who that was 👀 so many of us doing these videos now. Appreciate you watching! The harder you work the more money you make - this has allowed me to quit my full time job, so enough to do that I guess haha! TH-cam helps a bit too 😉
Seeing how quick some items go on Vinted do you ever rush into buying something immediately and it turns out to be a mistake? (poor condition, fake etc.)
Hi, love what your doing but would love if you did a video on how you keep records etc for tax and how you claim expenses for items you have no receipts for, I have been selling online for a few years but want to make it a my part time business but have no idea how to keep records for expenses etc
Hi, thanks for watching! Yeah I’ve been asked this a few times, I don’t like to go into it much as always get mixed reactions. Simple spreadsheet with all prices paid & items/date of Carboot/location/mileage all that. As long as you keep it as accurate as you can, usually it all goes smoothly come tax time. So far so good, for me anyway. Start by setting yourself up as a sole trader on the GOV site and go from there 😊
How do you sort your taxes doing this? I am only 20 and would love to do this on the side. However the UK education system doesn't tell you about how to do your own taxes because they want you to work 9-5 till death
It’s a weird one as there no receipts at boot sales. Just keep prices of items on a spreadsheet, as accurately as possible. Cover all spend inc mileage and go from there.
Hi James new to the channel, amazing content!! I was wondering if you have or might be able to give us a tour of set up (what equipment you use and things like that), please keep doing you !
Just a note on the GSP and you saying theres no extra charges. There are extra charges when you sell something through GSP. they call it 'International Fee' charged at 1.05% +20% VAT
Randomly stumbled across this page about a week ago after watching stackedgolf video (American golf related garage sale page) and have now watched every single video and has encouraged me to restart my reselling page after 5 years absence. Class content, very genuine guy, grafting it out. Respect 🤝
Just started buying shoes from vinted thanks to you - how do you ship the shoes? Do you have shoe boxes or use parcel bags? Apologies if you've said this before.
Been watching your channel for awhile now - best reseller by far know silliness and self promotion just wholesome content real and true. Can’t wait for the next video - and the Vinted knowledge is brilliant. Keep up the great sales!! 😊
LETS GOOOOO BUDDY! You fully deserve your channel growth. You have personality and are obviously a genuinely decent dude. Here’s to 10k followers by June!? 🎉🎉🎉
Fair play for the deleting socials thing. TH-cam is truly all we need for good entertainment and I too have been waking up and going to bed mindlessly scrolling on instagram and reddit. It is not good. 😢 great stuff man. Can't wait for the bootsales 😢 tho I've had no luck finding footy boots or decent shoes last year!
Again not sure how I found your channel maybe TH-cam decided it was your time in life 😂 But really enjoy the car boot cam stuff with the what you sell for - keep em coming .
Hey pal new to your channel loving the content out of curiosity how do you keep logs for tax/book keeping when buying from car boots or charity shops ?
Thanks for watching! All through quite simple spreadsheets. List of items I purchase with prices/keep all receipts you do get and just try to be as accurate as possible with it all. Hard to keep track of Carboot bits, but keep on top of it and it’s not too much of a faff.
Do you list a bunch of items in one go, or do you space your listings throughout the day? I heard if you post one item a day, it’s better for the eBay algorithm, rather than posting a lot of items in one go, don’t know how true that is.
There’s not really any proof behind it but I believe at least 1 listing a day will keep your shop in a healthy order. I try to hit 10 daily Monday-Friday & as little as 1 sat-sun.
Discovered your videos a couple of weeks ago. Totally loving them as I've gone round carboots since the 80's and since 2009 done ebay as part of my business, I have fishing tackle shop and sell used tackle in their too, one thing you don't talk about too much is how hard ebay can be, how bad buyers can be, how bad couriers can be and how unfair/one sided ebay are, maybe this wouldn't make good watch to your average viewer😂 but ebay is definitely a take the rough with the smooth and make as much profit as you can to make up for the losses. Great videos James, keep it up
Appreciate you watching the channel! Glad the Carboot videos are bringing back good memories from back in the day! Yeah bad things do happen, I do cover them in a few vids but tbh, it’s never too major and doesn’t happen every day, so like to stick to the up beat sales/pick ups 🙌🏼
Good scrub in the sink with a brush, dry off with a micro fibre & radiator. Very rarely put them through the machine as this can damage the glues. Thanks!
Great video as always. I think i discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I've been chipping away at all your videos!! They are so educational and inspiring that they motivated me to start myself. I fear I'm filling my shop with rubbish but it's all a learning experience and I made my first sale this morning. I'd love to see videos on fees, listing advice and how you clean your items
Appreciate the comment and well done for starting. It’s a great business, just take it day by day, mistakes will happen but just learn from everything. Knowledge on items and pricing will all come in time 🙌🏼 well done on your first sale!
@@JammyDodgerFlips Thanks so much for the response! More inspiration for me to carry on! Made 2 more sales but didn't list anything for a day and sales stopped, however I've been sourcing like mad and found some bargains so still moving forward. Now I need to build my shop! Thanks again man, these videos are invaluable!!
I started off mainly selling gaming stuff abd some how ended up niching down in to football boots 👍 Well done on the channel & ive deleted all social media as well. Definitely feel better for it.
Well done for quitting socials, game changer! Shame more can’t do it. Huge money in footy boots, well done finding that niche. I’m usually too slow on Vinted for any decent ones 😅
Recently found your channel through watching random videos through boredom ,now we are hooked you've even made me and my wife open our own ebay account 😂keep up the good work pal 👍👍
Hello mate. Just watch a video of yours from 10 months ago where you bought a job lot of match box cars have you still got them? Cos there was one in there I would like. Cheers
Good idea to get rid of Instagram, Facebook, snapchat etc. It is soooooooo easy to end up spending way too much time on them when it could be used for more constructive things or time with the family. I found them all a bit soul draining!!! Congrats on the ever growing subscribers🎉.Nice total 90 trainers at the end.👍
Yeah been away from it all for around a week now, already feeling more refreshed knowing I’m not giving my time away to scrolling! I’m scrolling on Vinted instead now buying shoes 😂 Thanks Sarah, very unexpected growth, hopefully it keeps going that way! 😊
Dont no how i found you bro but your not annoying .genuinely nice guy .. a good watch love how raw it is .. no gimmicks just you doing you
Appreciate the kind words mate, I’ll keep being me & keep them coming if you lot are watching 😊
Still baffles me now waking up to sales and replying to offers 😂 also congratulations on the growth mate! 💪
Thanks Luke! It’s the best part of the job. Not so nice when you wake up to returns though 😆
I really like a picking video, would love to see a video of how you clean the trainers you get, those converse are sooooo white!
Thanks! To be fair the converse were pretty much like new, so I can’t take credit for the cleanliness on them haha
Your such an inspiration, since watching gained so much knowledge to help me with my eBay to !! 😊
Thank you! Glad the videos are helping, keep it up 🙌🏼

Love a bit of TrackMaster! Getting hard to find these days 😬
Your viral vis has made you nearly £40k! Congrats. Wish i had the courage to speak in front of camera and start a proper reselling channel.
Unfortunately not quite £40k! But of course still grateful for the views 🙌🏼
All depends on the video/watch time and all other factors, but that video is around £5-7 per 1000 views.

fee video would be nice and recommendations on how to list items, love your videos thanks
Thanks for watching. I’ll take that on board for future vids 👍🏼

Another awesome video 👍
Do you have returns on for international shipping? Thanks
Thank you 😊 Unfortunately yes, have to accept all returns when set up as a business on eBay. However very rarely get international ones
Nice videos thinking to do the same but dont have a spare room to keep the stock any suggestions? Cheers man
Thanks! Just start with plastic boxes in the corner of a room and grow the empire from the there 👊🏼
@@JammyDodgerFlips cheers mate
Seeing how quick some items go on Vinted do you ever rush into buying something immediately and it turns out to be a mistake? (poor condition, fake etc.)
All the time. Almost after every buy, but you just never know till it’s sold! Gotta go with your gut. 9 times out of 10 it’s all good 👍🏼
why dont you put ur ebay in ur links on video's ?
It’s to stop all the eBay messages non related to my items. Don’t like to share it, not hard to find though checking solds.

ebay are a joke they side with the buyer all the time the seller gets treated like rubbish
All depends on the situation. Try to provide plenty of proof with whatever the case is & usually all ends with happy parties

Glad to see your channel growing! 8k is great 👍🏼
Thank you! Nearly at the play button 👀😂 92k to go
just started watching u buddy I never knew ppl like u do this for a living very impressed 😂😅
