Did you extract something from inside of the shoe? I know each of these shoes comes with KEVLAR PUNCTURE-PROOF MIDSOLE, which avoid such situations.

Those look like screws not nails. And in the videos used in selling the shoes they never go stright down. So you arent recreating the video at all.
