- Here's a look at the Black Series 3.75 inch AT-ST including a comparison with the TVC version. This vehicle has been out in the US for a while but it's only just turned up at an online store here in Australia so I was really excited to pick this up!

Much appreciation from a Pom in the Canary Islands. Just ordered it for my 10 year old along side an At At walker for xmas. Hes gonna flip on xmas day
Right...... for your 10 year old haha. Which version of the AT-AT? Anyways, this AT-ST is really cool, still has the problems with the legs although at least in my one not quite as bad as previous versions.

The ATAT is the endor chase saga collection. I think i got that right. Its got muddy feet. Im sure hes going to enjoy christmas (Me too )😉👍

Just watching again Nick. .. I picked one up today on Forbidden Planet for £39.99, so despite recent Barge outgoings, I had to get it! Really fancy getting it.. who knows what prices will be in future?! EBAY was certainly suggesting it was more than 40 quid. I remember seeing this video of yours before and it was a bit top heavy... but man it looks so good! 😊😊😊 had to pull the trigger! ! 👍👍👍

You're so right about it being styled for Jedha (I didn't twig with that and thought it was a repack of a ROTJ styled ATST) but actually when you think about it, it's perfectly kitted out for Rogue One theming! ☺
Nice one mate! I can't believe these things are on clearance in the States and yet they were so hard to find elsewhere. It does look good although I would like a plain grey one. The legs on this one feel a bit more sturdy than the Vintage collection version but you still have to find the sweet spot to get it to stand properly.

I got this chicken walker over a year after it was released in the US. I found it at a local Walmart for $15 - sorry for those abroad who have to pay ridiculous prices. I feel your pain - I waited long and patiently because I knew I wasn’t going to pay $60 for it. Great review!
Thanks for watching. It's rough being a collector outside of North America but I know some areas in the States miss out on things as well sometimes. That's a great find for $15, it's very rare for an item down here to be clearanced like that.....

And I got it for $10, it was on clearance at a Ross, dress for less store. But the 3 others I bought, I might have paid $30 for each of those.
Awesome figure. Only gripe with mine is it was hard to stand as the legs are wonky. Sheeks i had pay full u.s price and shipping to New Zealand which was an arm and a leg. Awesome review mate!
I agree mate, I think this is a pretty good vehicle. I haven't played around with it too much but the legs on mine don't seem too bad, definitely better than the TVC version.
I found one on clearance for $9.99 plus tax, so about $11. Not too bad.
Nice review man! Btw do you know if this is the same mold as the legacy version? I had heard that this versión of the AT-ST had loose legs... maybe it was only in the first batches?

I believe it is the same mold but I could have sworn that I read or watched some reviews from people that have both versions and they said the legs are a bit sturdier on this Black Series version. I have the TVC Endor version and the legs seem a bit better on this one though they still aren't the greatest.
Great review Nick I didn't get this one because I got TVC version . Oh nearf that that was the worst time of vehicles I'm jealous about the US collecters always complaining a lot about finding things and I store's are crap in Australia!
Thanks Quan, I had to get the Black Series version, even though collectors in the US can pick them up a lot cheaper I thought $65 AUD for this vehicle including a great figure was worth it.
Nothing worse than hearing US prices like that, then looking at AU prices of the same item. Gets irritating fast. That reminded me to finish my Amazon order, now they will shut us off from their site end of month, another nice kick in the guts for Australian's. Nice detailed review and i like it.

For $25 absolutely. I have the Vintage Collection version as well but I don't really like the way they painted the "mud" on the feet. To be honest I'd prefer just a standard plain grey one with maybe a little bit of darker grey weathering, but this Rogue One version with the sandy looking weathering ain't too bad at all.
Great review. Audio could be a bit louder though.
Thanks. I don't like to make my videos too loud, don't want to blow out peoples eardrums or speakers. I have played back the video on several different devices, with and without headphones, and maybe the volume is a little low but I don't think it's too bad.

Wars toys, but if if they're overstocked and international markets don't have any stock something is very wrong, and whoever controls that at Hasbro needs to get the arse!
It wouldn't be worth bringing it on the plane with you. Not enough profit in it for me to do it unless I made a couple of hundred dollars doing it.

Excellent review & comparison! I think I like TVC one better just because of the box art is so cool. Our TBS AT-ST must be defective. The legs are so loose it will not stand on its own in most poses. :(
Thanks, I definitely prefer the TVC packaging more than the Black Series packaging, but I prefer the Black Series toy. The legs on mine seem fairly sturdy although I haven't played around with it too much. There seems to be a sweet spot when posing this vehicle, it's just a weird design with the center of gravity up high and in front.

Nice one, it is awesome. It has a great sculpt, a much better paint job than the VC version and despite some issues with the loose joints in the legs I absolutely love it.

It's a pretty cool vehicle even though it still has the issue with the legs. I haven't been on much recently, had a few things goin on, will hopefully do a new video soon.

You have like the #6 and #7 version AT-ST, I believe! 🤔 Let's say the 1983 one is version #1, 1995 one is version #2, 2001 POJ is version #3 (I own this one with a flying Ewok on speeder bike), versions #4 & 5 are Target exclusives in 30th Anniversary that I own as an Endor playset and a Hoth Playset back in 2007 (with a Hoth AT-ST not seen in ESB)! You show a #6 Legacy Collection one and then this #7 one (presumably a Walmart exclusive Black Series of 2017)! #7 may be sold again for around $60 USD (noting places with no Walmarts)!
Nice one, that's a comprehensive list, I had #1 as a kid (unfortunately sold it), pretty sure I had #2 because I was right into POTF2 back then (unfortunately sold it), and now I have TVC version and the Black Series version which I think is my favourite version so far.

Absolutely, that would be amazing! Unfortunately I think after the Black Series 6 inch TIE Fighter Hasbro made a decision to stick with smaller speeder sized vehicles/creatures so we probably won't get a 6 inch scaled AT-ST.....

The Black Series AT-ST was first released in 2016 I'm pretty sure.
How tall is the at st?
It depends on how you pose it, but the way I have it currently displayed the AT-ST is standing around 34cm tall.

@@vittoriofalcini9355 My understanding is that the yellow weathering is there because this is meant to be the version we see on Jedha in Rogue One. I'm not 100% sure but i think the only "clean" or all grey version was released in a battle pack around 2010, I think it was the Shadows of the Darkside line although I may be wrong.

It would be perfect....if it weren't for the fact that the feet weren't 15% smaller than what they should be

I calculated the feet to be only 12% smaller than they should be and that's acceptable to me, but each to their own.......
@@BabblingBooby It's funny you said that cause that was the number my gut was throwing out there. lol..i'm not even kidding. But yeah, i like mine. I almost thought of trying to switch out the feet on my original Kenner ATST, (on which the feet are too proportionately BIG) with the Black Series edition.
Hehe, well yeah I was kidding. I want the 3.75 inch vehicles to be as accurate and to scale as possible but I realise that is not feasible and to be honest that is sort of part of the charm of them for me. The smaller speeders and ships etc should be in scale or close to scale, but as they start getting bigger it doesn't bother me as much. The big Millennium Falcon and big AT-AT are perfect examples of toy vehicles that aren't in scale but I think are pretty much spot on. Having said that, Hasbro's most recent vehicle releases for the most part are way undersized and very disappointing.
yeah, i hear ya. I have both the Legacy BMF and Big ATAT, and although they are still a bit undersized with respect to 3.75 ratio, that's that not really bothers me, perse, what bothers me is the fact that the cock pits for both are a bit big with respect to the proportions of the entire vehicle. and i realize the only way to fix that issue would be to either redesign them to have smaller cock pits for smaller figures, or scale the body up. Neither is practical obviously. I'm just OCD about Inter-vehicle proportions being right. Like the feet on the ATST for instance, no excuse for those feet....LOL. But I still like having mine on display with my original version and ATDP from Rebels.
