I started journaling a few months ago when I watched one of your videos . I have one son who is autistic and every day we have new experiences and also challenges. My planner/journal is a place where I can truly pour all my emotions into and keep track of appointments etc. I love your black and white drawings and look forward to adding them into my journal…Thank You Shayda🥰
I started bullet journaling 5 years ago, because of your beautiful videos and I use it to doodle, set goals, set up my focus for the month and I write a monthly meditation piece too. I use various mediums, this year I did paper crafting and doodles for my monthly layout. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability and genuine insight about mental health, your videos have brought such joy.
I have been drawing for a few minutes every night, because of your encouragement, Shayda! I started during COVID and have kept it up because it helps with my mental health! Your work and your voice have been my companion for years now!
I truly love this new theme. I really don’t need a bullet journal for a daily schedule. I am retired. I have always wanted to keep a mental health/bible study journal but never knew how to start. I am excited about moving forward with you through this new adventure. Thank you dear and God Bless. ❤
Creating my bullet journal is such a mental health thing that I started making one for my mother and my best friend every year as gifts. I have areas in my journal that I call my rolling log that’s for messy brain dumps and then areas that are for pretty, calming graphics. One of the first years I did that I followed your monthly flower series and had the flower of the month incorporate in my monthly calendar layout. It was fun. Thank you for being part of my bullet journal for years.
I'm new to journaling and doing this for my mental health. I've been really struggling with depression but getting through the other side. Love your journals, really inspired me. ❤
|| Double line love!!! || I love this 2025 theme for you, Shayda! I've always long-form journaled, but started bullet journalling when I found your channel. It has truly become a pillar in my mental health, I love it. My safest space. I couldn't do without it. I think my favourites are my gratitude logs. LOVE the return of some classic Shayda black and white bujo illustrations, and love that your 2025 is focused on your mental health 💛 Warmest winter wishes, Shayda!
You inspired me to Bullet journal after I had my first daughter and was in the pits of Post partum depression. It brought me so much joy in a hard time❤ I’m due with my second February 2nd and a bit fearful of PPD again, so I love that your theme this year includes mental health. Thank you for being you. I made your cute Christmas cards this year and everyone loved them too!
Definitely need a 2025 mental health journal. 2024 has been a terrible year for me. Hope I can use it to document my change and transformation in 2025. Merry X'mas to you and all!
bullet journal has always been about mental health for me. I always get a thicker bujo to dedicate the first half to planning and the second half to journaling --like a mini diary that I always carry around. So happy you decided to do this "mental journaling"; pretty sure you're gonna love it.
Journaling is sooo therapeutic, you are inspiring. Thank you for all of the ideas, chats and advice. Enjoy Christmas and a family time. See you in 2025.
i started bullet journaling in the middle of the pandemic and it has really been a life saver. I am a very creative person and i love to make physical things. bullet journaling allows me to do that without too much pressure. if i don't like my spread, i flip the page! I love the way your set up turned out!
I teach an art class for adults with disabilities and I know art is a great therapy for people… creating something from a blank canvas is very fulfilling or I could purchase your drawings for them to mindfully colour in. Thanks for sharing your talent and ideas ❤
I have watched you for years. Saying I'm going to do this each time.Well, time matches on and here we are at the end of another year. With barely any creativity in my life. 2025 is going to be the year that I do it. I'm not going to go crazy, but I think a mental health journal is something that will definitely help me with my creativity and my physical and mental health. I love this year's set up that you have created and I really will set up my journal as a start to a better year than the last few! Thanks shayda!
Journaling, art and therapy has help me navigate so much this past year. I’ve been through some dark days, but I’m so very glad to be able to reconnect with my artistic side. I’m so thankful I found your account . It has helped me so much in my journey!
I love the black and white or monochrome. I have an Archer and Olive journal with navy pages and I love drawing with all white in that one😊 I also love your drawing videos. Thanks so much for a great 2024.
I just learned to do modern calligraphy & am looking so forward to doing this journal! I pray it helps my mental health. Looking forward to an awesome 2025. As always, love your videos! ❤
Thanks for all the great content on your site, along with your laidback vibe. Journaling, doodling, art for the fun of it: all very therapeutic in this chaotic world!
I am SO EXCITED about a mental health bulletin journal!! Im new to bullet journaling and feel overwhelmed with all of it- your printouts on patreon are perfect for me to make it pretty without pressure. Love it!❤
I'm so excited you are going back to your black and white flowers! I find the black and white so stylish and striking, I have missed it over the last couple of years as I don't really see anyone else doing black and white which makes it so unique. I can't wait to see some new black and white spreads. Have a lovely Christmas! :-)
So beautiful! I just completed my first full year of bullet journaling and it has truly changed my life for the better. I can't wait to set up a new one over the holidays or in early 2025. Happy holidays and thank you for the inspiration!
Quite honestly, you were the first person I ever heard say bujo, I had to google what it was! I’m still sorting through all the options of what to journal and how to bedazzle it. Yours are quite lovely
Wow, I really interested in this themed bujo... really opens up the possibilities. Because a bujo doesn't necessarily have to be for future planning. Really cool - thank you for sharing!
Art has not only kept me sane, but also I like to see I practice things that overwhelm me in real life… like ‘mistakes’ - which, through art I have learned are actually opportunities for growth… being kind to myself too… art and mental wellness is my go to 🙏🏻
This is such a great idea, love your layout and designs! My goals include self-care and wellness. Morgan Harper Nichols has an affirmation/quote that is " I am making room for things that heal my heart." So, I have been watching videos on TH-cam like Diane in Denmark video 3 ways I organize our Danish home - hygge baskets, where she talks about having a self-care basket, reading basket, and snack basket, Cozy K videos about cozy hobbies, and Mariane Cresp video how to use a self-care/break list, where she talks about 3 types of breaks. Also, like Jashii Corrin mental health journal videos! Thanks for the reminder to be creative which is good for mindfulness! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
This will be my first bullet journal and it’s all about mental health and art for me. Thank you for the perfect examples and how-tos! You have been such an inspiration to me over the years with your flowers and doodles …. I’m gradually becoming more confident. Thank you so much!!!❤❤❤
I have a journal that I write in everyday to put my thoughts positiv or negativ on paper. I’ve been following you for years and started bullet journaling with you in 2019! Thanks.
Delinda here - I make a bullet journal every term for my 21 yr old to daughter - she’s a college athlete. I make sure and put in spreads for class tracking and important dates. Her favorite part are monthly “pocket pages.” Two pages stapled across the top that hold a gift card in them - coffee or groceries, etc.
I use my journal much like you to create, get messy, put down my thoughts and feelings. Sometimes I write over what I've written or gesso over but it helps to write down how I feel especially knowing that no one else will read it.
I bullet journal to keep track of my OCD and emetaphobia, for the good days and the days I'm triggered by things. Seeing the good and bad days really help when I see my therapist. Not using whole sentences, but dot points really help because I don't feel compelled to make coherent structured paragraphs. The art component part of it helps quiet my brain because I have a space to draw something that represents each day for me.
I use my notebook as a weekly planner of sorts…a place I can list what I’d like to try and do, appointments to keep etc. then I use other pages as a brain dump, menus, things to remember etc. It’s very much adapted to what I need🎉
I have one journal that I write all my thoughts in, and just like you said, it releases them from my mind. I also have a prayer journal that I use to doodle and write Bible verses. Both are so therapeutic.
Thanks dear Shayda 🫶🏻🥰💕!!! I'm sooo happy ☺️🥰🤩!!! I had days waiting for your Yearly Bullet Journal Setup 📝🙌💖!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 🎄✨!!! God bless you 🙏🏻✨
❤I always look forward to this video. A fresh start ❤ merry Christmas and happy new year Shayda I love bullet journaling because I have four kids and three of them are teenagers. So that means lots of activities. I’m also a art teacher so it gives me mental break to stop and plan out my next day/week/month ❤
Thank you sooo much for this inspiration, i think i will start journaling now! It makes a lot more sense to do this kind of journal, because my well being and mental health matters more then anything else and is alot more fun to do❤🎉 My 50th birthday is coming, so i decided to give myself thise as a present 🎉🎉🎉
Your black & folk art designs are wonderful but one does need the uniball signo white gel pen- I finally just got one! Painting with white paint takes too long. So I will be trying to do folk art b & w like you have done. I put photos of them in my mood board. Do you know of any stickers that are like that? And where to buy them?

I love mental health journaling. It’s a great way to relieve stress and refocus on what matters

For my mental health this year, I will finally start your e-course that I purchased in … 2023. Thank you for all that you give. ❤
The idea of a Mental Health Journal caught my eye. That sounds like a great idea. I've been struggling lately and hope this might really help me.
Quite honestly, you were the first person I ever heard say bujo, I had to google what it was! I’m still sorting through all the options of what to journal and how to bedazzle it. Yours are quite lovely
Simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing! Very inspiring, as usual 😊
Yes! Getting my thoughts down on paper has always been crucial. Thank you for doing these every year ☺️

I've journaled for a while as it helps me work through life. It's a real mental health saver especially during the Scandinavian winter months.

Getting the good as well as the bad out on paper helps me get a better perspective on what is really happening.
❤bujo. Busy mom of 2 and full time job, this is the better way to balance out and yes my quiet peaceful moment. De-stressed🥰

Ooh never thought about a mental journal. I’m giving a try this coming year. 😊
Yes! Black and white and maybe a warm grey? 😁
Thank u so much dear artist.
I wait for your work🥰🥰🥰
Love from bangladesh
Thank you sooo much for this inspiration, i think i will start journaling now! It makes a lot more sense to do this kind of journal, because my well being and mental health matters more then anything else and is alot more fun to do❤🎉
My 50th birthday is coming, so i decided to give myself thise as a present 🎉🎉🎉
Trying to bullet journal for first year. Will see if I can make it.
And yes, double lines rule! 💪😅
I use my BUJO the same way! I like to really just let it flow! Maybe someday someone will see a more complete picture of the "real" me. ❤
I bullet journal so I can organize all the different parts of my life, and how that changes throughout the year
This year, 2025, I will also be working more on my mental health while journaling.
Hello how are you dear thanks for nice things
