And is about a man losing his faith in religion, due to its role in most of the worlds violence, specifically war (in relation to the songs "We're All Dying" and "War is a Cemetery" off the same album). Do some research before jumping to conclusions.
Its pretty intense to see what came out Deryck after his divorce from Avril. I mean Avrils hit song right now is "What the Hell" about messing around and shit and then Deryck and Sum 41 release a song like this. I always resepected Deryck so much, but a song like thiis has just raised my respect by so much. Mustve been tough, real tough. Sum 41 rules. Oh and 2:50 - 3:20 is pure poetry....

You'd've said the same thing about "Best of Me" and "So Long Goodbye" had Underclass Hero been released in 2011. Artists write about breakups a lot, doesn't imply dedication to anyone specific. Especially since this song says nothing of a divorce, nor even spending a long time together (the necessary lyrics to properly write about Avril Lavigne.) If they were to say this song is about Brownsound, like how he was the better half of the band or of Deryck's writing process, I wouldn't be surprised.
