Leslie, your pronounced my name correctly (Father/French Canadian and Mother Danish.) Wasn't aware your desire for these vintage spools. Love your personality, Roberta.
Yes, all alone raising my kids, they had all the opportunities to grow up to be fine respected adults. My daughter first born blessed with a wonderful husband, four children (Veterinarian, State Police Officer, Register Nurse and Fireman) and four grandchildren. My son is single (licensed mechanic by trade but chose to run his Landscaping/Snow Removal Company back in Connecticut. For many years I've donated all sales from my business and shows to the American Cancer Society- after all, I've been blessed. I'm humbled by you taking time to share my gifts with others here in the community.
Roberta, you are an amazing inspiration to me. Not just for your beautiful creations but to know that you are a many DECADE survivor of cancer. You are a very strong woman and I admire you for that. GIANT Hugs - Leslie

HI Leslie no I'm not Roberta's Daughter but my Mothers Maiden name was Comeau it's a French name my Grandfather was from New Brunswick, Canada I had the pleasure of visiting there a few years ago and met a cousin I didn't know I had also got to visit the old family homesite.
Greetings Doris great opportunity to visit your family. My father was from Quebec and there's "Bay Comeau" as well. Although I don't speak French I hope to visit before I take that second wink!
