When Haji first joined Community Forests Pemba through the Farmer Field School, his farm was dominated by a monoculture of cassava. With the help of one-on-one training and access to our community-run nurseries, Haji embarked on a journey to revitalize his 3.7-hectare farm. Today, his once low-value cassava farm has been transformed into a flourishing Spice Forest system.
