Although, while applying the technique in my chart to check the spouse's profession, I got stuck big time!
I'm a Leo rising and Sun, Mercury and Jupiter and sitting in scorpio plus Mars and Saturn are aspecting them from Lagna and 7th house respectively.

Can be. But Rahu in 4th house doesn’t represent distant place I guess. I think u should check Navamsa also.
My grandpa has Saturn in 7th in D1 and Rahu in 7th in D9. And my grandma is of different nationality from him. As for my grandma, she has Rahu in 3rd house in D1 and Rahu in 5th house in mutual aspect with 7th lord of D9 in D9. For my grandma, my grandpa is just from different place. Not different nationality as she’s mixed.

What house system do you use? I heard somewhere that transiting planets give results of a house only after they cross the ascendant degree - do you think it's true? e.x. If someone has aries lagna at 20 degrees, will they feel 11th house results right after Jupiter enters aquarius next month or only after Jupiter crosses 20 degrees of Aquarius?

Interesting perspective...so if I have to look at the opposite of the house planets to know my spouse job...does that mean my chart is the opposite of his chart? For example if I have mercury in the 10th house in my chart that means it’s the 4th house in his chart? 😁😅 is that right to look at?

But it could be that the similar planets are forming a connection with the 4th and the 10th and both are in the similar profession

@@VLASTROLOGY thanks for your reply I don't know if this is related or linked but I've been keen on knowing who is God etc since my childhood and finally some miracles happened and I actually saw the form of Lord Vishnu and also have certainly met Lord Shiva but he took different form also I have dreams of outer dimensions maybe due to ketu moon Mars conjunction plus I have Jupiter retro in 9th house Pisces and mercury is in 4th house chitra nakshatra plus mercury is my darakarka is Lord krishna anyway related I'm having struggle with career as well just sharing my experience.
