- Of the eye diseases that man to blindness, glaucoma stands second. It is a group of eye diseases which result in damage to the optic nerve and vision loss. The symptoms of glaucoma may not be seen early. To spread awareness about the disease, World Glaucoma Week is being observed from 11 March to 17 March this year. Dr Veena Viswam of Amardeep ophthalmic hospital in Thiruvananthapuram tells us more on the dreaded disease. Doctor @2PM.
