I forgot to tell you about Allen bolt caps you can get online or at a true value hardware store they have a chrome section there with these little caps to go in for like your handlebar clamp just put a dab of silicon in it to keep them from vibrating off it would clean up your clamp for like $7

Yo lil homie, your a smart enough dude, and your mechanically inclined, you should go take some welding course at the local community college, its cheap enough. Than YOU could weld up all your on stuff with confidence, plus you could do it for all your friends. And its a trade you could get a really nice paying job with!!!

Yeah butt welding is a no no!! That’s weak that’s what the Chinese do. That guys correct. I’ve sleeved them in the past, for strength. If you actually care about show quality turn the lower end in a lathe to make the diameter to be smaller than the other, then slid it into the upper piece, essentially making a slug to slip inside one another, then weld it up. That’s assuming that kick stand is hollow, but still could be slugged even with solid round stock, jus more work. 👍
