Anywayyyy, since the series finally came out I figured I'd give some of these a retry along with add some new faces I didn't get around to before. Also sorry if the audios a bit low quality, if its too bad to listen to you can just mute it and put on some music lol. I hope you enjoy!

I feel like the exorcists losing eyes would be like a punishment if you betray them, since they all have it and being aware you would lose eye and wearing a mask that has an eye X-ed out and having that constantly being a threat to you really seems like something they would do. Like an eye for an eye.

What is so funny about Husk body type is that in universe hes suposed to be short! In the song looser baby the neon signs call his flaws and in one of them hes call a manlet
2:11 a funny thing about this, hell might not even be red like people think! A different video about biblically accurate hell has mentioned the fire in hell might have been blue in color from the brimstone which was another word for sulfur which burns a bright blue, so this could have been such a huge opportunity for maybe a different secondary color other than white and yellow, or as another color option for some characters but nope, they missed out on that.
I haven’t watched helluva in a bit but I think they DID do that just with different circles of hell, and since hazbin is in pride the whole time it’s always the same red- get what you mean tho
Vox actually is a body modder in the canon of the show. There’s a photo of him in the background with a 50s TV head, so he probably got his head upgraded some time after the photo was taken
Your Vox's design's colours hurt my eyes.. in a good way, it looks hypnotic, which is good! Your version of Vox is a garbage goofy guy, and I love him

Charlie's redesign has to be my favorite. She's the perfect amount of both creepy and cute! I bet her full demon form would be scarier, too.

I think the reason his name is vox is because vox was a cult leader when he was alive, his name is suppose to be a taken from the Latin phrase “Vox Populi, Vox Dei” which means “the voice of the people is the voice of god” which sounds alot like something a cult leader would say

I love there new design they look amazing also Vox & Velvet’s designs looks amazing as well.
The idea of the v’s with the person for the social media & reputation management being changed every so often is a really cool idea it could lead to a lot of different plot points. :)
I could imagine Velvette being a permanent part of the Vees could work if Velvette was "the only one who isn't that easily replaceable" because of her competence.
She could even hint at how much she's TERRIFIED of being replaced and overcompensates to avoid being thrown away. This could make her a very active Vee while also being set up for a potential redemption arc (which would be free real estate for Hazbin Hotel's premise).

funfact: velvette openly supports valentino, and she made whatever love potion he smokes.
Another funfact: so does vox, their in a.. i dare to say situationship? They act like stupid toxic lovers and they kiss in the finale. Also another thing the fandom has come together and made it canon that vox has an alastor bodypillow. (Onesided radiostatic)
By the way, your theory with Vox and his weird parts (his head, specifically) is really close to what I've heard. It says on his wiki (and apparently in a q&a) that he died in the 1950s, and I'm not sure if it's canon or not, but I've seen that he has upgraded to stay with the times, which means the control of more recent souls.
So yeah, he's a weird plastic surgery dude. Amazing designs too! So cool!

As much as I like certain things in these redesigns like Charlie's marionette + lamb-like features, as well as Niffty's exageratted bug features, but I have to say Vox's redesign doesn't really make sense for his character here. The odd princess sleeves don't give off the same intimidating facade he puts on, and the pink makes he seem too soft than what was intended in his original design. I personally thing the dark blues and bits of red in his original design conveyed his character a lot better than the soft baby blues and pinks here.
Thats actually what I was going for! Within the context of the show Vox is his own company mascot and he is trying to convince people to allow his tech into their homes. He needs the general public to trust him, to think that he is SAFE. Remember, his brand doesn't require him to be strong and dangerous, it just requires his technology to be.
So yeah I basically switched that around, rather than trying to look more dangerous than he is, he's trying to look less dangerous and then hits people with a wallop when they try to mess with him.

This is actually good, especially Alastor and Vox. They have more variation and personalities here. Hey, I could use these concepts for a fanfic? I'll give credit, of course, and it's purely writing as far as I know. They just give me awesome vibes, not gonna lie.

Just a note, from what I know, the characters in hazbin are red because each ring of hell is color coded, and they’re in pride, which is red. Greed is green, etc etc. but I still agree with your points!1!1

I'd love to see your redesigns for Alastor, Angel and Pentious. Maybe Valentino, too. I don't like his personality or condone his actions but his design is interesting. I'd love to see what you would do with it.

Yeah I imagine she probably has a whole bunch of outfits in a variety of styles and aesthetics, I just like bright colors and wanted to give her something a bit more vibrant for my redesign

Maybe this is just my interpretation but I don’t think angels were actually meant to be bad. It was to show the angels were just reckless in the exterminators were evil not all of heaven knew about the exterminations and I’d say like 90% of heaven is pretty good I think would be pretty bad to heaven this bad place and I don’t think that’s what the show was trying to say, well, the v’s are going to get a lot more in season two from what Viv said

Ok so we do like the designs.. but like... have you finished the show? like watched past ep 5 or 6? cos to us it sounds like you haven't. also as a person who has a pretty big collection of porcelain dolls i personally don't think charlies mouth looks like something from a porcelain doll, like you repeatedly said she was supposed to represent a porcelain doll. but to us it just seems you didn't make it anything like a porcelain doll. also in the first one you did you said Vaggie, Alastor, Angel and Niffty didn't look like their animals? like the thing is yeah we also didn't know Vaggie was moth themed, we didn't know Niffty was bug themed(that's kinda a lie we assumed she was but we weren't sure so it's a 50/50), we get you didn't see that Angel was a spider.. but Alastor? We don't get it. like he has antlers(even if a little small but also the antlers you had made were too big in an animation point of view, although they are quite small in the show) he also had hoof markings on the bottom of his shoes(we see why you wouldn't notice it... we’re just VERY observant) and the ears, sure we get it, i didn't know they were actually his ears, but when i realized they were his ears that was a lot more fun than getting handed the information on a silver platter. There's something called metaphors and things resembling other things, like Vaggie she resembles a moth with her hair, Angel resembles a spider with his four arms and the 3 spots(which are eyes) under each eye. Sometimes (in our personal opinion) it's more fun to watch something when all the information isn't handed to us on a silver platter! Which is what all the animal resemblances are(no idea how to word it). So yeah, also! it doesn't make sense Vaggie is wearing armor cos she's like the receptionist.... THE RECEPTIONIST!... so she wouldn't be wearing armor! cos again she's not the protector of the hotel that's not her job. like if you wanna give her some kind of armor then just give her a bit of chainmail.. but not a full on chestplate! also Vaggie isn't bad at fighting, she's just rusty!(it's been 7 years since she fought) The reason she doesn't just cut her hair is cos she likes having long hair, shes just not used to having long hair! And even so she's not the hotel's protector! also the whole thing about Husker being an overlord and needing to then look more special? like overlords are just sinners who are more powerful and own more souls than other sinners! Also, Husker's face shouldn't be flat, he's like a cat! Also the only reason why Husker would be “wise” is cos he's the “wise old bartender that everyone rants too” tho that doesn't make him “wise” that just makes him an object of yelling(like something people only use to yell about their problems to) he's not “wise”, like he's a frickin gambler! which is the reason why he isnt an overlord anymore. ok so for Niffty, we do like the design you made, except for: the fact you made it a little alien themed(that felt off to us), the wings and the colors, cos to us it almost feels like a re-imagined version instead of a redesign. for Vox: love the heelys.. but… his name is an alias! like look at Val! Valentino means “strength and health” HE IS NOT HEALTHY!. so yeah it's just an alias. Also for Voxs’ anatomy, we’re pretty sure sinners are supposed to have something they don't like about themselves, for example: Husker is a cat and doesn't like cats, Angel also has spider toes which are ALWAYS covered, even during the shoot when Charlie walks into the studio in episode 4. also to the fact of making Vox look friendly with circles… dude his head.. it's a square and his eyes and mouth are more jagged and pointy in your design, also if Vox looked more “friendly” others would make fun of him and call him weak, LIKE LOOK AT SIR PENTIOUS! Everyone makes fun of how he's not any threat! also he doesn't even need to look friendly! He can literally hypnotize people! also we don't like Voxs’ nor Nifftys colours in your design. also about the antennas NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO HAVE A MEANING!(this is from a person who usually likes for almost everything to have meanings). now moving on to Velvette and the idea of her being a throw away character. like buddy we’re not watching my little pony, you can be a bad person and still have friends, and also she's like keeping up with new trends like 24/7 and shes the “#bitch” which isn't really how people talk anymore, so she isn't completely ‘in touch’ in social media on earth but hell the online media may be different or older, and rotating the possession everytime they become unpopular probably wouldn't be a good idea bc it’ll take a while to get the person to know what they’re supposed to represent and how to do it correctly, which is time wasted for their repression online, with Val being the only one that gets screen time being a bad person, the show only had 8, 20 minute episodes confirmed to work with, which they didn't choose. also your Velvette design was not that great cos all the colours clashed in a really bad way(we found the colours visually infuriation/hj), also her clothes are not fashionable whatsoever in your redesign.. like she's literally the fashion queen…. so that just doesn't fit… but yeah we just really wanted to tell you this and if you read this through, thank you so much this isn't supposed to be hate, its just criticism
I love your redesigns, but I just can't agree with your opinions on Velvette--
My least favorite color is red lol.
........ Okay great drawings, really great drawings but honestly I can not bear this enough, Vaggie is supposed to wear that red outfit she's supposed to be in uniform to the hotel. I will say Charlie's do make me want to puke less now but then I look over at Vox and velvette... (Also I'm pretty sure Vox is supposed to be like "voice box"). You somehow took the color of Velettes name and Vox just- I don't know, those colors aren't it though. Husk looks great tbh though, definitely a better idea than the last one you had for him. I love making Vaggie more moth like and more armor but she unfortunately does need to wear some red to actually look like she runs the hotel too. It's just professionalism. Nifty........ Is exactly what I expect when I see someone complain about her design and I say " then make a better one" and they come up with something like this. It's not bad, your outfits and designs are great it just always seems to always be the colors that make your complaints look really watered down. No hate though I'm just brutally honest just as you are with the show.
