    Back when I had BMX, I tried testing my trials skills, and hopping off a 7ft fall to flat surface.
    Unfortunately, whilst balancing on the back wheel, I applied pressure on the cranks to hop off the wall, snapping the chain..which led to me flinging forward, landing head first into the concrete surface..the next thing I knew I was being dragged by my friends to their house

    I had a really bad crash on this Monday night (April 6). I was descending down the road and my thoughts took control over me. I just started thinking abt my problems and other stuff. When I realized myself going straight to the road boarder, it was too late. I crashed into the border at speed of 60-70 km/h. I flew out of the road and hit the ground by my right side (at first head, then shoulder and then hands ...) Good that I have expensive helmet (Met Roam Mips) with Mips system, MRI shows that I didn't get concussion, but head is still aching and I've got some memory problems, hope that they'll disappear soon. I was really sceptical abt Mips system, but now I think it saved me. I guess its obvious that if I didn't wear helmet, u would never read this story. Guys, always wear your helmet. It's really important!

    That finger one is nasty! My friends and I when we were younger riding BMX our grips ends would wear out and expose the handlebar. We learned rather quickly that exposed handlebars is a terrible idea. It's basically a cookie cutter. I had a friend almost lose one of his nipples, yes.....a nipple.....because of the end of his handlebars. OUCH!!!!
    So yeah, always have bar ends and if the end of your grip wears off due to crashes and trees and such, replace the grip or put a bar end on it.

    I didn’t get this in camera (mostly because I don’t have one) but last week I went on a local river side trail and tried to get over a 3”-4” root, cleared my front tire just fine but smashed my rear. It bucked me over my handle and sent me tumbling with my bike following close behind. It landed on me, nearly took out my groin, and broke like $30-$40 in equipment.
    I think out of all of that, my broken gear sucked the most.

    I had my first over-whip on a hip jump yesterday. I got waaay too enthusiastic with it! Bike and body completely bloody sideways in the air! Still somehow landed it but slid off the trail wheel-first into a tree. Got stopped soon enough for my font shocks to compress a bit to save the day tho! Lucky boi here!
    Day before... Rebound on the rear got turned up all the way. I don't know how it got that way but It took sliding off the trail 3 times before I figured out why I was getting bucked on jumps and not keeping any rear traction on landings or corners. I thought it was just me riding like garbage but couldn't understand what had happened all the sudden. Riding great... then buck, slide, buck, slide, buck, slide. I felt pretty stupid after figuring that one out...

    • @mojo3398
      @mojo3398 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      had my first real crash yesterday. also felt too enthusiastic taking a jump i've been passing by for a year. the jump of was bad, in the air i was thinking "you fool, that's way over your skill.", the landing was even bad, bottomed out the fork, washed out the front wheel, went over the bars, landed on my shoulder and smashed my head on the trail. the impact cracked the helmet that's why i went to the hospital after i rode back home. luckily it was only bruises on the head and shoulder and the brake lever is broken. first day of my holiday and probably last day riding for this holiday. i think i've been just pushing too hard, don't actually need to ride all those jumps at the moment. only will be riding stuff i am truely confident i can ride.

    A few weeks ago I was riding bike, and fell, causing my bike's front gear to go into my leg and I had to get stitches. I am 13, and surprisingly it didn't hurt at all, until I tried to walk the next day and felt that my muscle also got cut.

    I crashed my bike, cracked a rib, got a black eye and nearly snapped the end of my little finger off. I bet you can relate to this next one; another time my foot slipped off the pedal which spun around and smashed into my shin with a loud metal on bone sound (classic shinner), one of the pins gouged a hole so deep there was a little piece of my leg like a pork scratching stuck to the pedal!

    Hi,,I’m after a new bike because my old stumpy is old now 2006 model and it’s a bit high for me when I want to go down stairs on a local track I go on,,,so I’m wondering what bike would be best for me to get,,I mainly go on straight paths or a local ride down the canal but sometimes I go round the local nature park that’s got a little track on it with a couple of pairs of stairs and a couple of little jumps that my son jumps off or bunny hops on to hit so I need something to try and keep up with if somebody could help with some advice,,,I’ve just bought a new GoPro 9 so I will be putting a little video on my channel soon of the little track so who ever can help can get a better idea what sort of place it is where I go 👍👍👍
