how powerful is this combo of /south african pianist Nduduzo and our main man Azar Lawrence.....keeping the Trane on its tracks with their own sound and interpretations.....they truly are Brothers Of the Fire.
There is something extraordinary about jazz music. This music is therapeutic. My dad is a huge fan and a Jazz DJ, through him I have learnt to fall in love with Jazz. I feel like I was born into it.
This is truly some great stuff. And what a pleasant surprise to see my good friend and music colleague bassist Michael Bowie in this group. We work together frequently in Washington DC and it's always a pleasure and honor to make music with this talented cat!
