The manager is a yes man, a great preacher for the media but clueless when it comes to tactics and we have been sussed out already. We leak goals with one of the best 4 defenders in the league. No plan when teams sit back and no idea when teams press. We need to be real the chairman is a businessman not a fan. Being rich and not investing only reinvesting isn't a winning formula.

I can't believe the media is still talking the style of play. If you look at all the games Spurs Lost last season it was due to a lot of player errors and not the style. The team was getting use to the high pressure play and made plenty of mistakes. No doubt new signings will make a huge difference, and the new season will be the test!
I don't mind us conceding goals when we are scoring loads. Ange needs time and he needs players, Spurs fans are happy with him they know he needs time

Scott raises some valid points. Reflecting on the Spurs' last season, the first 10 games were harmonious, with effective combinations and link-ups. Madison was exceptional, his distribution orchestrating much of the play. However, injuries, suspensions, and international breaks disrupted their rhythm, causing Spurs to lose their momentum. Upon his return, Madison was a mere shadow of his former self, leading to a sudden void in midfield creativity, and the team suffered. While I concur that a striker is essential for converting early opportunities to secure the game, a creative midfielder is also crucial should Madison fail to recapture his form from the start of last season. I have confidence in Ange to resolve these issues, as he has previously, and I am excited for the upcoming season.

System is great when it works , but this is the Premier League managers study tapes they will fine holes in the system and the players, it will be an interesting season where the Spurs land at the end 4th again , or even 8th then what keep with the program ?

Every Celtics fan I have spoken to either in person or I the comments has said that ange doesn't change anything in his first year he likes to make sure the players know the system down to a t before he starts to change even the littlest of thing.

Maybe watch the different clubs and different seasons from start to finish that Ange has coached and you will see something that is predictable. Start with Brisbane Roar and go from there. Youth and belief play an important role. A second season will not hurt Spurs, I don’t recall them winning anything for a long time anyway, what’s another year.
Forget Solanke and Toney and splash the cash on Viktor Gyokeres, Gyokeres is an Ange Ball striker young, pacey, strong and score with both feet
Tottenham will strengthen the midfield and the forward line which will hold up play in the opposition half

Good sensible discussion. Angeball tactics work best when possession only rarely given away to cause counterattack but we have too many players with poor first touch and control. Bergvall is showing how it should be done and we need more like him. Ange knows this and it was one reason why Hojberg left but this is a deep problem.
False, it isnt a possession game. Its about having more chances, and converting more. The opposition will get chances 99% of the time regardless of who you are playing or what team you are, enough to win the game, the focus is to have more chances to win the game. Needs at least 2-3 years to get things to a point where spurs can challenge but i expect our clown fans will push him out before then because they dont understand football.
If Ange fails it won't be his fault. It will be on Levy for not giving him the players he needs.
Okay scenario, you get rid of ange, who replaces him? Theres no one who will take Spurs to the next level, why? Tottenham keep signing players that won't deliver under pressure. Johnson away from home is poor. Madison is hit and miss. The only player you had who was a ruthless winner was Perisic, unfortunately too old.
Totally disagree. Remember when we signed bale, lad could barely take part in a win, modern fans would have sold him by now - point is, players often get better and get used to their way of playing. You really cannot start judging Spurs until the end of this season coming - Ange is re-building a whole side - last season was a great start with a top five finish - we do need a CF though - Sony is one of those players who scores far more goals by coming in from the left so we are losing twice over by playing him down the middle

Yes, but that’s because the players weren’t playing the style properly. Our attackers were not pressing quick enough during the end of last season. That way they can be compact in the Front, midfield and then fullbacks high up the park.
Ange will make sure they follow his style or he will show them the door.
We need to keep recruiting good players over time. It will be a gradual process. Hopefully will be a couple more additions shortly.
