    You never cease to amaze me!! That screwdriver is one of your best efforts yet. For a guy like me (that loves tools and DIY and saving nice things from the trash bin) your channel is an absolute joy, and I find myself looking forward to your new videos. It is obvious that you are having fun and enjoying life, which makes it all the better. Keep it up!! BTW, in the south we call it "mish mash". All the best, Red

    Scoutcrafter that screwdriver is absolutely outstanding! The green is like a jewel. I feel there should be an armed guard standing next to it just for me to look at it!

    Another fantastic restoration; perhaps my favorite. Red "S" for Scoutcrafter is great. BTW, I bought both the green multi-screw driver and the metal dustpan you had shown a few videos back. Both are very nice.

    John my saying is true, crap to ice cream. An asset to any tool collection. No wonder you were a scout leader, patients. Most today would have thrown it away. I know you have your own museum with tools , locks etc. you are very entertaining, thank you.

    It's always sad to have trees removed. But new trees are satisfying also. Getting to plant something that will probably outlive you and allow people to enjoy them for years to come is great. It's also pretty neat watching how much they grow each year and become a nice specimen. Do some research and visit some nursery's to pick out the right ones. There are so many variety's to choose from.
    We had a neighbor cheap out and have someone who didn't know what he was doing and too small of equipment-remove a stump. Well he had to have someone come back and regrind. He missed a lot of it the first time. It's worth the price to have a pro do it.
    Enjoy

    John, for the Perfect scales, I use Plasticine - press it into the scale recess to take a mould of the scale, slice off the pinhole excess, then ink the surface and press it onto the wood. Gives a super impression and an outline which you can carve to. Works for me...

  • @michaelbradley8508
    @michaelbradley8508 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great job on the screwdriver. You are a gifted craftsman and artisan. Few people would have gotten the results you did. Congrats. A quick comment on the removal of your tree stumps - maybe not for you because of you city's fire regulations - but within other jurisdictions, you can remove stumps by taking an axe and dishing out a depression in the stump then for the cost of a partial bag of BBQ briquettes, place a few in the depression and light them. They will smolder away for a few days and your stumps are gone. You can even BBQ several meals for yourself an neighbors - set up ScoutCrafter's burger and dog stand and donate the proceeds to a green charity.
    Good Cookin'
    Michael from Canada

    That is the. Bests scale replacement I have seen John. I like how you showed the steps. That is key. Trying to skip one leads to problems.
    Thanks for doing all the work on this one.
    Schrader valves are a cool invention. They are used in more than inner tubes. When we lived in the country with a well we had a water tank with an air filled bladder to smooth out the water flow. I forget what the pressure setting was but if the air leaked out of the bladder the pump ran all the time.
