Not this build with Spear but Rapier bleed feels good still yes. I don't think the food that reduces bleed duration affected it that negatively. For Runeglass the only one that'll boost your bleed dmg is just Punishing (more melee damage)
@@SlowBroToe what rapier bleed combo you using recently? As to runeglass, I was moreso thinking of the DoTs on weapons just dogpiling on extra bleeds lol
Interesting build, but i would recommend you check again skill tree passives of spear because at least what i can see on the video -> You use spear heavies passives such as Refreshing reach and Defensive stance, and I literally didn't see any heavies in the video at all. Also I see you use Reserved Strength, but the value is minimum, probably you will never be full stamina as you already said in a comment down below. I think Unerring Precision, Exposed Wounds, Exacerbating crits and Exploited weakness, are better overall. These passives potentiate damage on bleed targets and basically, easy always reliable damage overall. Let me know if you agree or not agree with my points or if you have another point of view of the things. Cheers.
Hey thanks for the feedback! Completely honest, I've ran so many iteration of this build that when i pick perks it's not always the exact same ones! One thing I'll mention, the only time I take any perks that have to do with heavy spear attacks it's because I'm using Coup de Grace, this is the quick downward attack after a sweep and it actually counts as a heavy, despite it being very quick! Great feedback though, I am sure I'll do another one of these builds with runeglass and I'll keep unerring precision and exposed wounds in mind!
@@SlowBroToeOh my bad! Didn’t know coupe de grace counts as a heavy. Even with that I think there are other passives that are more overall damage reliable. Thanks for the info, and keep doing builds like this, I appreciate it a lot.
It does NOT no, same with Keenly Jagged. The video I posted here I have Keenly jagged and you can see after "finish" it'll keep ticking (as long as they didn't die lol). Only thing that Finish does is add up all the TONDO bleeds as a burst number. There are many things you can do to boost the damage though, like increase the duration of the bleed (250 int bonus, and Blood letting perk on a ring)
Nice vid bud, quick question though, what stat values are you rocking fully buffed? cant see your stats throughout the whole vid, are you 50 str/int, 300 agil and 100 con? or 50 str, 300 agi 150 con?
Nevermind, im blind, i paused on the last page before the additional text came up XD BUT, what gems do you use in your gear? Not that important, just curious
@@saneman9706 haha I was gonna say it's at the end screen. I mostly have onyx or diamond in all slots. I think maybe I got stuck with an emerald in a jewelry piece. Phys dmg reduction heavy. For weapons I mostly just run opal cause I'm never full stamina. Sometimes I've messed with elemental gems as I think it helps, but it does not boost your bleed dmg so not great for this build focus.
I notice in arena you use sweep but in OPR you were using vault kick? Any particular reason? I had been using a bleed build with SnS but your videos make me want to try out the spear!
I am trying like every combination! These are hardly my "meta" builds lol. OPR was likely recorded a different day than Arena, that's all! I think both are good, but in light gear i prefer sweep. Medium armor, I want to interrupt a bruiser so i need Vault kick!
@@SlowBroToe Thank you! I just recently have been trying out the spear/rapier combo. Though I had gone away from the bleed build as I was having a hard time figure out timing etc. but that had been SnS. This really looks interesting. I have been wondering about the javelin so I will look for something with sundering javelin on it. Do you think it would be better to have it on the weapon or gear? Right now I have enfeebling on my spear.
@@digytl for rapier bleed you want javelin perk on tge spear cause your damage comes from tondo plus FF. If you can rend them with javelin it helps. If you are brawling and using spear and rapier equally, I love Fort perforate on spear as you get so much fortification!!
It’s really personal preference any dex weapon can would with this rapier build it’s all about play style I’ve always been a spear user simply because I enjoy the play style and cooldown reduction of spear and never paired it with rapier but seeing this has made me want to just don’t know where u get the gash ring from

Yeah it’s op but also gotta be good kiter. I don’t believe it needs a nerf. They did fuck up by adding the perk deadly flourish lol but other than that the rapier tondo build is a high skill build
Have you tried this lately? I love spear/rapier bleed and played light in 3v3 a lot but haven't tried since just before runeglass and all that

NP I am sure there might be more optimal perks, I like experimenting but I'm back to bow right now with the addition of runeglass!
Do the bleeds of the spear count towards the flourish & finish too or is it just the tondo? Great vid btw

@@SlowBroToe Thank bro!
Good afternoon, tell me how to make the damage appear in a column like yours, and not on different sides
SO much better right?? It's under Settings > Game > Floating Damage numbers (Change to OFF)

Just returning to the game but how do you get the Gash Ring can’t seem to find it
It drops from Borvarn in ebonscale (imperial). nwdb.info/db/item/ringt5_gash NWDB has everything you could possible need

How do you make your damage numbers to be like that?
