I can confirm that, also have driven both of them and from inside 488 is as loud as 458. And because of turbos you may have not as good engine noise, but performance-wise -- my Lord, how fast 488 feels compared to 458!
The way he drives in stop and go traffic and backs up...he's probably gone thru 3-4 clutches in the two years since this video lol I would guess less than 5% of Ferrari owners can actually derive them as intended

Probably because this isn't stock. In forza horizon 4, the sound isn't too bad in comparison to other cars. Unfortunately, they have been lacking on car sounds which, in my opinion, is one of the most important things to have correct.
