I think a general rule of thumb I try to play by is to always be the one controlling the flow of the game. On a map like this, a great way to do that is to force the bulk of the fighting to happen by your opponent's city instead of your own so you can gain extra income while they have to take inefficient trades to defend theirs. You can see in both games, MichaelCho put pressure on the city of tsayrv to force a fight in awkward positions for his opponent. Totally understand the early GGs given the state of both games. MichaelCho is pretty good at this game haha
