I mean we know a lot of people who are in love but Britney's almost childish sense of wonder and joy here is so adorable. How can the world treat someone so precious so badly? I know life's like that but I want to complain
That's why I absolutely don't believe when she said in the past that she was in love with Kevin or that Sam is the love of her life. Lies! She has never been so happy and in love with any other man after Justin, maybe she is infatuated with other men but never in love. Her eyes were light and her smile was so bright! I have to say that I do miss them together. Their break up was the beginning of her mental situation, not saying that's the reason why, but it was definitely the start of it and then things just kept going down hill from there it seems.
Britney really was in love with Justin she was never this happy with Kevin or any other man after him. I think she saw Justin as the one and once it ended she lost her hope of her fairytale ending. She always wanted Justin but she did something that hurt him so badly that he walked away from her for good and sold her out to publicity. After Justin Britney hasn't had a real relationship since then.
Faeries_Xylia 923 she's had a lot of real relationships. She and Justin were young and famous. They wanted to play the field, as every young person does. They were cute together, yes, but first loves rarely last especially if you're famous. It was inevitable that they broke up.
As you grow up you want different things for yourself. What you want in your teens and 20's isn't what you're gonna want in your 30's and 40's. People change with life experience, it's what they do.

I was a nsync fan during those days and I just want to say Justin doted on Brit like crazy. He would shower her with gifts and follow her on tour whenever he had time. It got to the point where nsync fans were upset because they felt she was taking up too much of his time. They had a rough breakup, partially because of their young age, but to say Brit loved him more than vice versa is really painting an inaccurate image.

-Tracey - yeah, there were many reports in late. 01 and early 02, photos as well. I remember seeing photos of him inconspicuously entering and leaving a hotel the next day with Nicole Appleton. I think Jenna Dewan (sp?!) admitted to a fling with JT while he was with Britney. There were a couple more too, a poster above goes into more detail in another thread. I remember at the time when it happened, I was weirded out about the whole Britney cheating scandal cos I was like “huh? But he’s been cheating too”
