I was born in '88. The 90s was the best decade ever. Best era to be a child. Watching this almost made me tear up from nostalgia. One thing I'll never miss is that dang dial up internet. 😒

I was born in '88 too. Can definitely understand why you won't miss dial up internet. Jacked up my mom's phone bill due to how experimental the tech was at the time. Made convincing her to go for one of the newer internet connections a bothersome task.

Being a 90s kid, I can definitely relate to a lot of these. The Olsen twins were my childhood heroes. I amazingly never failed at opening a Capri Sun drink. I was an obsessive Beanie Babies collector and I slept with the “life-size” ones at night and I still have a vast majority of them in storage because I have such fond memories of them (many of them are souvenirs too). I went to Blockbuster once or twice a week ever since I was six cause there was one only 5 minutes away from my house and we would rent around 4-6 movies a week! I still have all the movies and games I ever bought from there.

10:06 I can definitely relate to that! When I was in elementary school, we were always watching things like Reading Rainbow, Arthur, Bill Nye, and more as part of educational programs for the subject we were learning, but also my school district had its own TV channel and would air certain kids shows such as Reading Rainbow, Wishbone, Arthur, and more on certain days every weekday and we would always get to watch them whenever they came on and they weren’t part of a “privilege reward” or anything. It was the part of the day I always looked forward to the most, even more than recess LOL

I was born in 1988 so I grew up in the 90s. I remember being in school one day just randomly drawing the cool S. I always drew mine with a horizontal line at the bottom, not a point which was how I always drew them. I had never even seen it before but I was just drawing vertical lines and joining them up and came up with it. My sister had moon shoes, beanie babies and a skip it. I had forgotten about stamp pens, but I definitely remembered the multi coloured pens and used to have them, along with orange and yellow fluorescent highlighter markers.
I never actually seen or heard the THX logo in person as I only went to the cinema a few times in the 90s. I do remember trying not to get my CDs scratched, especially PC software, games and Windows CDs, but my sister who is 7 years younger than me, kept taking mine and I find them scratched up or left somewhere they could easily get damaged. I kept telling her not to take them and tried to hide them, but she kept finding and taking them.
Our family didn't get internet to the late 90s with 56K dialup and I remember trying to download a 3MB or so MP3 file and it taking over an hour and my mom kept telling me to hurry up and get off the internet.
I loved The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, for me it was one of my top favorite shows of the 90s along with Home Improvement and never missed them when they were on TV. I also remember having glow in the dark stickers on my bedroom ceiling as a young child, Pogs, Mighty Max (the world's most fun choking hazard), Bouncy Balls (I used to get some every week from machines in a local village near where we lived at the time), weird skateboard called something like a tri-board that was 3 sided with a wheel on each side, all the great kids shows, Spinner Yo-Yos, 3 sided plastic boomerangs (the ones I had were wider than what I have seen online today and each side had a whole in the top for your fingers to go through and they were fluorescent colors like pink and yellow)

1940s 😊 wasn’t born in this time but gosh everything is so classic and beautiful about it! Love the black and white movies, art, fashion, music etc.
1980s still the best decade for movies, music and entertainment as a whole. I didn’t care for the fashion or the hair styles really weird and over the top. But god the best songs and really nostalgic damn….

See, you actually were a "90s kid". It's strange hearing people born in the first half of the 90s call themselves 90s kids, when the majority of our growing up years and events that have shaped us into who we are, took place during the 2000s.

As a 2000s kid, I enjoyed Capri-Suns and putting the straw in. It’s not wrong to drink Capri-Suns as an adult--I’m more akin to Juicy Juice, another kid-friendly brand adults can enjoy. Respect the pouch! Respect it!

@@chasehedges6775One other thing I forgot to mention is my love of the THX logo. There’s something I can’t identify that makes it a source of glee. From Tex repairing the logo to my favorite, “Amazing Life,” the THX logo all started in 1983 with _Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi_ “in the first THX theaters in Dallas and Los Angeles. By using simple text graphics on screen in contrast with a jaw-dropping demonstration of multi-channel sound, "Wings" raised the bar for quality audio presentation by showing audiences just what was possible in the movie theaters.” Source: The THX Wiki.

As a '90s kid, born in '91, I remember all my favorite game shows, legends of the hidden temple, double dare and all my favorite cartoons, tiny toons, loony toons, tom and jerry and the Charlie brown and snoopy show. However, for wrestling fans such as myself and millions all over the country, it was war time, I'm referring to the Monday Night War Between WCW, (1988-2001) thank you Ted turner and Eric Bischoff, and the WWF.

Using so much footage from Arthur is quite appropriate for this video.
I seriously miss Blockbusters. Heck, the one that used to be down the street from my old family home is where I got my copy of Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost.
The 90s were the best. I really do miss them. Everything seemed so much simpler back then. And more fun

I saw an article somewhere where John Stamos actually said that Mary-Kate and Ashley did cherish their childhoods and that it was just something that everyone else made up.
I was never a Mary-Kate and Ashley fan when I was a kid but once I became a preteen I did become a Full House fan.
But it did put a smile on my face. :)

Being a 90s kid I can relate to most of these. I never had a problem opening a Capri Sun, but my mom did LOL. I watched every movie the Olsen twins were in, I had a tamagotchi, and most of my school supplies was Lisa Frank. I always sang along to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song and I knew how to do the Carlton. I rented a movie almost every weekend. I also loved playing with my skip it. The 90s were great!

Born in 92 and I can tell kids today so many stories about the 90s. Especially about beanie baby mania.I remember hearing about parents fighting in toy stores like in jingle all the way to get them for their kids. So many bite marks, black eyes and missing hair. Another thing I remember is Sargent soaker. Super power. Super speed. Super soakers all you need.
