I just got an aventon sinch recently and I've noticed the same thing about traffic where I'm at. Even if you're going the same speed as traffic they will still blast right past you. Nearly got hit by some moron yesterday. I was in a 15mph zone and this one dude zoomed right past me going most likely 25mph just to get by me. I try to avoid traffic as much as I can because the people here are VERY impatient when it comes to bikes of any kind.

You're always asking people to attempt sketchy thing with their PEV's! 🤣 By the way once you try a monowheel you will be hooked! It's such a different experience, I encourage you try give it a shot at least once.

Fun ride, and funny how stopping at a light is an obstruction, but cars and trucks PARKED on the bike lane is not 🤔 LA seems so uptight about e-bikes right now. I've been doing PEV rides in Detroit the last few weeks, and both the drivers and police have been cool. While we don't have any Sur-Ron's in the group, we do have Onyx's, but they are pretty chill.
Definitely entertaining as hell. When smiling guy appeared outta no where , it almost startled me out of my rocker. Between you and Sur Ronsters wheelies adding zippidy do da, it always leaves one longing for more.
This cop was just being an arse. You guys have all the rights of any other citizens to circulate. And if you are 20,000 of you on the road at once, well they just have to accept it, just as well as when you ride alone.
Someone asked that exact question to one of the Onyx riders in our group last night, and I think a good answer is that it's more of a high speed commuter or cruiser than a dirt bike.

I think if you guys don’t wheelie on the roads..stay off the pavements and stop at red lights the police will probably try there best to ignore you guys..it’s other road users and pedestrians complaining that will extinguish your ebike fire guys..🇬🇧❤️😷👍
Not for nothing, but when30 of you at least are riding in traffic, and a good portion of you are on vehicles that are illegal to be written on the street, I don’t think that blasting pass the Dutchie and having horn honking contests in front of businesses is the wisest move. That’s not very Stealth and that’s not keeping loophole culture underground.
First of all Riden* second of all, it's not illegal to ride on the street. Most states say you have to be far right unless taking a left turn, but that law is there because bikes can't keep up with traffic. Cops don't do this to people on motorcycles, they shouldn't to do it to people on bikes either.
