A lot has changed in the Cambodian capital. One should probably anticipate the opening of its massive international airport - a multi-billion USD project
How was the museum? The Met recently returned several pieces of stolen Khmer artifacts to Cambodia and the American lawyer who has been working to recover stolen Khmer artifacts recently gave an interview where he said the Met still has more Khmer artifacts but instead of returning them, they’re trying to negotiate with Cambodia in retaining the artifacts in exchange for favors. I’m guessing the museum would be near empty if they had to return all stolen artifacts. BTW, the “P” in Phnom is pronounced.
