Thanks Rob.just watched your new video.i really enjoyed it.you did an excellent job explaining the features.stay cool n stay well.you really make some great videos.thanks again.
Good reveiw,. With regards the the wheel position, I think it's a safety feature, not sure on angles as I don't move it much, but think it's about 45 degrees to engage the wheels, when you move this as a whole unit, it's a big heavy speaker, so Sony did not want this running away from you, so to move it, you get behind it, lean it back to and roll, take it from room to room fully assembled, it's really quite easy in an open space, but it's a lot easier to move when you split this into 2 pieces, or at least it would have been if Sony designed this better, there's just 4 screws holding the top on, simply unplug 3 wires and remove the 4 screws and it's slit, takes about 2 or 3 mins the top piece is an easy lift, the bottom having all the weight, the wheels are there, but this is where Sony failed in the design Imo, there is no handle built into the bottom piece, had there been one, it would have been spot on and made this thing a lot easier to move in 2 pieces, outwith the house etc, this is a big beast, but I like it, yes people will say jbl 1000 has this, flame lights etc, you can compare any speaker and find likes and dislikes on them, but this thing has presence, it has the sound, it has The bass and the lights are amazing, especially when you have the speaker a few feet away from a wall, the back light comes into play even better, you can compare this to other speakers, yes you can get cheaper, but as far as party speakers go, this is the real deal, use it in a man/woman cave, you can not only play music from CD's blue tooth, but hook it up to a TV and you can watch a movie on Dvd, yes I still hit dvds, this is a hands on machine and I love it.
Thanks for the informative review. I lost my remote control, and now I’m just wondering what IOS app that I can use to connect the speaker to wifi? Many thanks
Thanks for the in depth review Rob. How is the bass compared to the mid range and treble on this system. Does the bass overpower everything or is it more mid range and treble emphasized or is it a perfect balance of bass, treble and midrange?
Yea i saw that on your other videos featuring this beast. The reason im asking is coz i have the Sony HT M5 home theatre component system and that system is so bass heavy and no matter how much i toggle with the bass, treble or subwoofer settings it still does not fit my tastes. Im looking at gettin rid of that and going for this. I know trying to compare the two is like comparing apples and oranges but thats all i can do as none of the physical stores out here have a demo model that i can check out for me to make up my mind.
@@reclusive78 You won't have that issue here, but you'll be way happier with a home theater than you will this Mono speaker. Instead of buying this I recommend looking at Yamaha or Bose home theater. The Bose acoustimas is 999 without a receiver, but the yamaha is only like 500 with a receiver, you will use it and enjoy it much more. Polk Audio also has complete system. Sony is really bottom of the barrel for high quality sound.
Hey Rob , saw your review regarding this speaker , and so I wanted to buy the same now , is it the best available option now or is there any new in the place ? And i wanted to ask , will it shake the windows ?
It has good bass, as for crystal clear, with a cd it's pretty good. The only issue I had with it was having to adjust the eq when changing genres. Honestly for the money I'm get a Partybox 1000 or 710 before I bought one of those.

Yeah But you can find something way cheaper and better. Look for a home stereo similar to mine. You don't need huge speakers like I have or even a very expensive receiver.
