In 2010 Automatic Ice Systems designed, engineered, and developed an all new packaged ice manufacturing facility in Washington State. This facility was engineered to accommodate future product automation.
In the spring of 2012 AIS installed a FULLY AUTOMATIC PRODUCT AUTOMATION SYSTEM!
Every step of ice manufacturing is automated including ice de-watering and surge, ice drying, bulk ice storage, packaging and product automation, pallet dispensing, sheet dispensing, empty pallet feed, and automatic stretch wrapping.
