Love, love, love this, Erisa! You are so right. I’ve slowed WAY down on buying out of realizing this last year that it is truly unnecessary for the average girl. It’s a love, a hobby, but I mean…I put makeup on at 6am, and I don’t retouch all day. I wfh for who knows how long, and even when I go back- I believe my routine/ needs/ desires have changed. And I’m not mad about it! I do love cream blush! I’m so much more natural, skin like with my makeup these days. 😃 I’ve even had my hair grey blended and I’m currently giving up coloring my hair. Embracing the sparkle! And I’m loving it! So much stress gone from not having to keep up with that.🥰 I haven’t made it to downsize my collection, though. I don’t feel led to do that. Yet.
Hi Erisa, Thank you for making this video and sharing your honest thoughts on makeup routines and collections. The last 7 months I've been caught up in a whirlwind of buying beauty products. I'm embarrassed to say that many of those items I have yet to use. I feel really happy with what I have collected, and I would very much like to shift my mindset to using and enjoying what I own.
