"...I'll be the one to defeat you, Jiren, and I'll do it MY WAY!"
-Cue Frank Sinatra
Was waiting for this comment 😂
Jiren: Oh how cute, he'll do it his wa ...
Vegeta: FINAL FLASH !!!!!
Jiren: OH SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!
Jiren had a TFS Cell "Oh shit!" moment.
OH CRAPBASKETS!!!
How cute he named i-OH SHIT
yuya takahashi nailed the animation in this episode
Vegeta’s first ever final flash-
Krillin- “what does he think he’s doing?”
Vegeta’s final flash in super
Krillin- “let’s go you can do it!!!”
Priceless.....
He coudl blown up whole planet on earth
Her it wont
Lmao
That's cause Krillin's at a safe distance this time. Krillin actually remembered the Final Flash earlier in Super and got scared
To be fair this time the earth wasnt at risk of being obliterated through the blast
team 3 star
I can imagine TFS's take on this scene.
*Vegeta imagine's Cell's face on Jiren* "You. Me. Hard as you can. Are we clear?"
Vegeta: "CRYSTAAAAL!!!"
Bruce faulconer scores build up the suspense like no other. I definitely got the chills there. The fights scenes are so much better and intense because of it. Vegeta sells his special techniques almost better than anyone. Jiren is no fool, he knows better than to not put up his defenses before facing a full power attack from Vegeta or Goku.
I love how violent the Final Flash looked when released. Bruce Faulconer's score makes Super feel right.
This had me feeling like I was watching Z for a second
Jonathan Perez honestly
it's actually kind of ironic, Vegeta's opponents try to take advantage of his pride to defeat him, but then Vegeta ends up taking advantage of their pride to trick them into getting hit by his Final Flash.
they need to bring this music back into the series it made every dramatic scene 100Xs better
I agree
Too bad, that's never gonna happen.
It hits different in a good way. Amazing work on the editing. And Bruce needs more love as a composer.
Just goes to further my point, Bruce Falconer score is what made Dragon Ball so emotional and intense. The music made the show. That is why Super isn’t as emotionally investing as Z.
Gotta love Bruce Faulconer, his score changes the impact of the whole scene
Number One thing you Do Not do: *Piss Vegeta Off*
Pride is a Powerful Thing.
Jiren : That’s cute
Keenan Angevine the other thing you don’t do is push the goku button.
Iam You2b Jiren went on to lose to Goku who was borrowing Vegeta’s own power after the shortest recharge in Saiyan history XD
WHA…WHAT DID YOU DO??? TO MY BULMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
@@mr.x4036 that's not pride that's adrenaline rush
I love how everytime the Final Flash is used, the opponents alway thinks they can tank it and immediately regrets it right before it hits them.
And then they end up tanking it anyway 🤣
@@ConfesstoChristPerfect Cell dodged the Final Flash at the last second. It would have killed him if he didnt. Jiren is the only one who was strong enough to block it but not die. He surely didn't tank it.
@@killabee9552... That IS tanking it lmao. He got hit by it point blank and it basically did nothing.
@@kin4386 Akira confirmed cell dodged at the last second cause it would have destroyed him witch is why we see cell with half his body gone
@@jamesparkes4062 Ignoring the fact that Cell got hit point blank by Goku's Kamehameha and had his entire top half blown off, who at that point was stronger than Vegeta. And he survived blowing HIMSELF up. So, yeah. No.
The strange thing is, this scenes plays incredibly similar to that scene with Cell, in more ways than one.
how is that strange? it's intentional
The Tournament of Power was filled with lots of callback moments. My favorite probably being Frieza essentially repaying his debt to Goku for giving him energy back on Namek by doing the same.
Jiren: Oh, how cute, he named it-- OH SHIT!!!!!!
@Adrian Scott Which definitely makes it feel awkward at times, but that's the price to pay for there being such a large gap between shows.
1:42 iconic "Evil in his heart" laugh always gets me.
or 'over flowing with power' giggle, hinting at a Legendary SSJ.
"Evil in his heart" best description I've heard.
This is easily one of my favorite moments in the history of DB ever with the commentary and Vegeta’s theme.. like 👌💯
Thank you Mr. Toriyama. 🙏🏻
This music is so good I thought it was the real thing from the real scene. This is mad epic
Crazy how much better it makes the scene wow amazing
as per what I have seen, vegeta have more sets of energy blasts as compared to any other. Like goku only uses Kamehameha but vegita has Galictic Gun, Final Shine Attack, Final Flash, explosive waves etc. Goku mostly prefers close combat due to his martial arts training and Vegeta prefers Destructive blast to show off his power and that's what I love the most about him.
Vegeta’s voice actor can sing heavymetal songs.
He is a classicly trained opera singer
It wasn't the Final Flash attack that knocked Jiren down... it was the score. Damn, that's so epic you just HAVE to give up to it. Even if just until it ends.
the drawing of this episode is amazing
Love Vegeta's development throughout the series.
“Impossible to defeat you? DONT MAKE ME LAUGH!😡” i love it🤣
Vegeta and his "Talk no Jutsu" to make people not dodge his attacks, always a classic.
1:44 as soon as Vegeta's theme played we all knew we would see something amazing
I'm starting to think it's the music that makes Dragonball I think that's one of the main things super missed was that amazing track that dbz would have
Facts
Dbs has pretty good music as well but not much as dbz that's for sure
Vegeta is the first one to ever put a crack into any enemy that seems impossible to defeat
Vin Diesel: Nothing is stronger than family
Vegeta: Nothing is stronger than pride
The only time Super Vegeta sounds like DBZ Vegeta
Dude I have only seen a few select scenes from super here and there, but this was the only one where I thought, "huh, this actually reminds me of DBZ Vegeta."
So much better, I think this show is trash.
Mark I actually agree, the music in the show is horrible, the tone of the show is so lighthearted, it never leaves you on edge, and they make Goku an actual clown rather than someone you can depend on
@@MattyVice I couldn't have said it better myself. It's lost its grit, suspense, classic scores, seriousness, and everything else that used to make it a great show. Glad to see someone else who agrees.
For some reason Vegetas voice is more high pitched than in the original dbz from falconers music. It changed Vegeta a lot. Yea his attitude is the same but he just doesn’t sound the same with the voice
Man something about vegeta’s final flash just brings a chill down my spine
Faulconer’s score was legendary. I wish he had been brought back for Super.
"impossible to defeat you, DONT MAKE ME LAUGH!" American Vegeta is hands down the best DBZ dub character.
DB Dub is superior to the sub in general, Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo, etc, most characters are just better in the dub
But I mean, come on, you gotta give the Japanese VAs some credit for their own efforts
I like how you can still almost listen to the other theme from the episode
“Impossible to defeat you? Don’t make me laugh!”
Something about this just hits right.
Hands down that was the cleanest and most badass the final flash has ever looked 10/10 scene
Still disappointed they didn’t let him charge it longer and made jiren block like my man can never win
0:00-0:43 is why Vegeta would make a great motivational speaker
Vegeta's monogues are always so iconic 🥺
The animation quality here is downright awesome. Very impressive.
This was a great Final Flash, it's a signature technique of a serious fight against Vegeta
Vegeta's got the best lines!
Only to get his ass handed over to him in a minute!
It’s crazy how a change in music can affect the intensity of a scene. Classic DBZ 👌
The fusion of these two themes works surprisingly well.
